It’s nerve racking but I love your persistence and attitude to learning.I know you can drive and you’re definitely progressing in flying.Urban RC ain’t for the faint hearted. Very cool keep it up.
1 beep repeating is transmitter batteries low. 2 beeps repeating is plane battery low. 4 beeps repeating is low signal received by plane - check that plane and transmitter aerial wires are standing up (or down) parallel to each other for best reception. Also use the spectrum analyser on your Hobby Grade Radio (Spektrum/Radiomaster Multi/FrSky/Futaba/etc) to check for background 2.4gHz WiFi interference in that city location.
@@bigbristv Yep. We have a member of our Old Farts Flying Group who is banned from flying his Mavic when anyone else is flying as it just blankets the whole 2.4gHz spectrum and has knocked several planes down.
Yep get yourself an edge tx or open tx transmitter and keep your spectrum When I buy any micro volentex echine etc I don't even touch the pure trash transmitters that come in the box Have fun nice plane
Another Mustang?! I totally get it though.. the looks, history and handling of a P-51 is just special. I wanna get the Conscendo Evolution, but this one looks nice and it's a scale RC. If I got a Mustang though, it would probably have to be the UMX P-51D Voodoo. 493mm wingspan and about the same price as the Volantex.. but no radio The livery on that Voodoo though.. mm MMM! 🤩
I bought the Conscendo Evolution years ago and am still thrilled today! A monster with 4s 2200mah battery. Flight times of up to 15 minutes are no problem.
@bigbristv The Volantex 750 is still out there. You can only get the Red Tail which I'm kinda bored of, but I just repaint them. I redid one for each 332FG squadron other than "Bunnie" (#7)--which I kept as-is. I recreated "Tall in the Saddle" (A3*3) with a light blue cowling and trim tabs and one with yellow cowling and trim tabs (#69) along with custom nose art after my wife. Another I did as Deacon Hively's Olive Drab 4FG P-51D (QP*J). Last but not least I redid one as a 52FG Yellow Tail (WD*L)--with custom nose art in honor of my spouse as well. So far so good. They look neat especially in the late afternoon Golden Hour light. Repaints are a good way to hide crash damage. I'm gonna wind up doing one in bright red at some point like a Reno Racer. 😎
I bought from those Warbirds the mighty Zero, but when i fly the Remote makes Beeping sounds, what are they saying? Batterys are full in both plane and remote, what is this causing?
@@bigbristv i gett that for sure...paid $95...and of course a week later Banggood dropped it even further. I watch RC crash vids of expensive airplanes to keep me away from THAT drug!
The spektrum radio is a true radio. The volantex radios are toys and they suck to be honest. If you're gonna keep flying these planes then may I suggest investing in a better radio....like a Jumper t12/ radiomaster or something like that?? They are multi-protocol radios
Those volantex plains are unflyable out of safe. keep the spectrum transmitter get yourself one of the umx timbers from horizon hobby. They are easy to fly out of safe. I have the umx turbo timber evolution. I've only been flying for about 2 years and I take it with me every time I go to the field it's now my warmup plane .
From what i am seeing this one is actually flyable without the nannys. In general these volantex 400mm planes are a bit tail heavy. Do a cg check like any model and move the cg a bit forward with some nose weight. Use just a little, and keep adjusting cg forward until you get the desired result. It is really a simple issue to resolve.
like your review style buddy, thank you!
And thank you for saying that! 🙂
I ordered mine yesterday I can't wait to fly it , good video 👍 the plane looks awesome
I think you're gonna like it 👍

Thanks. In this case I think the 4 beeps was for interference. There was someone flying a drone nearby which may have been the cause.

Yeah you made it home in one piece keep up the good work. I'm in the process of building a biplane should be lots of fun
😁

😂
Awsome plane ! Keep flying i have wrecked my fair share also it happens.
I'm really loving this one so far, thanks! 😁
Yeah my man got that aliexpress special!! I’ve been eyeing this one for a while
Yeah man, it sweeeet!
Nice video keep up the good work
Thanks 😄
Also beeping is from signal interference/low transmitter battery
Yeah, it was from the drone flier nearby 😂
@@bigbristv I believe it lol
Keep up the good work, expensive hobby if not overcome.
Thanks! 😁

@rcflugzeit8420 awesome!
I feel like these 500mm are going to replace all the 400 mini warbirds someday
I'm hoping so. Still under 250g and more fun to fly
@@rickylowry3213 It's no contest that they'll replace the 450s any way.
@user-tu2gl6pl5m looking forward to it. Maybe they'll bring back 750-800mm 🤔

@user-tu2gl6pl5m what paint are you using?
Yes I want you to be successful love your content
Ok, thank you

I just realized the beeping in mine was most likely caused by interference. There was someone flying a drone nearby.
You’ve switched hobbies I guess 😂… I think your bank account will notice it 🤣
My main hobby is making videos. So if you look at it this way it really doesn't matter the subject. Right? 😉
You should also check out the XK A280 P51.
I did but don't like the lights. I'd rather the Volantex 750mm version of the red tail
@@bigbristv To be honest it's not a clean flyer and while the scale is amazing there are some aspects that pissed me off.
@coloradofotomatt I get that but what do you expect for a hundo or so? 🤌😂

😂just like me you tried one time and now your hooked
About to go fly it now. Hopefully get some landings in on the gear.
I found flying mine near 5G data towers, it interferes with the tx and rx which gives me unpredictable flights
Thanks for the heads up!
Won't to see you succeed
I'm just gonna read that as, "want" 😁

For some reason, I love Spektrum for cars. Not so much for planes. Don't know why 🤔
Their planes are top of the line in the umx line....
Spekjunk I don't trust in planes . You can fly in expert mode if you use a better transmitter like Radiomaster tx16s which I use in my planes

I passionately hate the Timber series. Way overpriced for what they are.
