    Thanks man. I wish there were more reviews of simple and easy cars; Cheap and cheerful type. Appreciate it.

    The Yaris Hatch comes with a 6 speed manual in Canada. FYI.

    Its not a bad thing that its a Mazda. Mazdas are great cars and it will certainly handle better than a Toyota small car would. Plus you get a traditional automatic instead of a CVT that Toyota would have used if they built it.

    Looks good. Manual would be fun. I owned a 2010 Mazda 2 manual and it wss a rocket. Great handling and the engine just wanted to go. Mazda and Toyota make great cars.

    Unfortunately, Ford, GM and Fiat-Chrysler have discontinued making small affordable cars like Yaris and are focused on SUVs/Crossovers and Trucks. These car companies think no one wants small cars anymore which is not the reason they are not popular. It is because Ford, GM and Fiat-Chrysler small cars were poorly built and unreliable, so everyone has flocked to Honda, Toyota & Mazda.

      100%, every car in america is a FULL SIZED, 20 foot long, EXTENDED CAB, FAMILY VAN OF A TRUCK from dodge and ford that cost 30,000-50,000$. FFS we need more small and affordable cars like this Yaris. We're not all small d*cked compensators , or a family of 26 that travels exclusively together. Please, America, give us more small , AFFORDABLE cars like the Toyota Yaris. 15,000-17,000$ is the best it gets !

    You can order any of the TWO MAZDA 2 arm rests and they BOTH look VERY good:) This looks like a MINIATURE Toyota corolla hatchback:) In person this car is SEXY because of its size! Get the XLE if you want LED headlights, auto climate controls round control knobs and leather steering wheel etc! INSURANCE is VERY VERY LOW:) If you are looking for a Uber or Lfyt car get the Toyota Prius C four (all options) its rear seats are roomy and it get 61 MPG where this gets 43 MPG HWY!

    Thank you for doing a review on this 2020. I have a 2019 le sedan manual and am looking into whether buying another 2019 manual different color than white or a 2020 would make more sense. They are great cars! Great review! N. Las Vegas, NV

      Claire Kennedy Reminds me of my old 89 Celica GT convo in the way it handles and feels. A sunroof or convertible top option on the Yaris and sportier aftermarket options to add and this just might be a perfect car!

    Test drove a 2020 Hatch LE and wow! We had 4 people inside the car and I was amazed! Our last car died 5 days ago. It was a 2000 Saturn LS2 and my wife loved that car. We signed papers today to pickup LE tomorrow! I didn't see this video until today. The power is not Saturn fast, but it is far from slow and boring. You do great job on your reviews! The only thing we think is lacking is the optional features. We only had 2 colors of Hatch on-site. We decided to get the on the showroom floor! 2020 Yaris Hatchback LE. I really wanted the standard, but after test drive, why? Very impressed! Do you think it will last another 20 years? It might outlast us! LOL

      How is the Yaris Hatchback LE working out for you by now ? Any issues ? or good surprises !?

    • @rjaquaponics9266
      @rjaquaponics9266 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@techviewer4599 One surprise is the gas mileage. It is outstanding! My wife's previous car was a 2000 Saturn with a V6. She is missing the power she had with the Saturn, but won't complain because the gas mileage. Once she learns to better use the manual shift options... she's be okay. I know how to drive a manual stick, but she never learned. Given the engine is only a 104hp... I am completely satisfied with the Yaris. It isn't a dog unless you floor it from a stop. Which is my wife's style of driving. Once the engine rpms are up... she goes along just fine.
      One thing to remember is the Yaris ground clearance is minimal. Don't try to enter/exit a steep driveway!
      Our biggest complaint is with the smart key. We have to remember the key to get in the car and then forget it while inside the car. And, the stupid beep beeps as we both try to enter the car when locked. The manual has so many different iterations based on setup. They could have made this much simpler and not tried to please everyone and every possibility with key-less entry. I received a real surprise while my wife got out of the car while the engine was running to go into a convenience store. I had forgotten my key. The beeping started as she walked away and it got louder and louder until I was crying out for help looking like a dog stuck in a hot car! We kidded, "would the Yaris start the car alarm, and eventually eject me". It sure sounded like it was my destiny!
      Two things to add... 1) I don't like the gauge cluster. I think they could have done a much better job on the gauges. 2) All Yaris's should come with "mud flaps" because they are so low to the ground.
