Thanks Thomas! That's appreciated! :) Waiting for my first Blue Oval keyboard, maybe it should be in this video but I doubt they are as loud as Model F... ! xD But feel free to do it as well, I'm sure you could add more details than me! ;)
I love this channel! Been following for a while and all the videos are very well produced (this one is no exception). Wishing you luck with the channel
I can recognize that Model F sound as the model F77 I have is not really that far off. As loud as the buckling springs are is in a metal case using solenoid makes them sound like a silenced switch in comparison.
IBM Beam Spring is definitely my favorite sounding of those. I wouldn't want it for actual useability ofc as it's just so distracting, but it seems fun.
Try this, you have the option to have it with kailh box jade! No need to build it! skyloong.vip/collections/gk96-keyboard/products/skyloong-gk96-dye-sub-dolch
All the more reason to get excited for eventually finding an FK-6000 with futaba MA in it. I have a little TTY machine with some and really want a board with them. Also, I really wish I could find a board with proworlds. But that is a dream.
Excellent video! Very well done, and hopefully now I won't have to do it xD .

Those beam springs sound amazing!
Yeah they are!!
One again. You are very undertated abd very informative. Keep up the good work ❤
Thanks mate! :)
Great vid! So excited to see all your new subscribers! Been here since the beginning and you deserve every single one
Thank you so much! You early subscribers really helped me! :)

Oh interesting! Never tried any F77... So beautifull board!
That IBM Displaywriter sounds really vintage to me despite that I have no idea what an old keyboard sounds like
ahah yeh, these sounds vintage for sure!!
Have you try clicky Fujitsu leaf spring yet? It has plate spring and kinda loud also.
Sure! Got 2 boards with these, but nothing compared to these IMO... But I really appreciated Fujitsu Lear Spring!

Feel the same as you! The other problem of beam spring keyboard is their lack of ergonomie.. they are sooo high!!
I actually love futaba ma so much, also your video:')
Me too! Thank you! :)
I can't find a keyboard with Jade switches. Is my only option really to buy all the parts and watch tutorials on how to mount the keyboard? Thanks.

These Proworld boards are so rare...
make a quietest keyboard switches comparison
Should do that!!
Tfw this is all beaten if the keyboard with the beamspring activates the solenoid. 😅
Thats for sure! So my Selectric ahah.. But it would be unfair to the switches mechanisms! :P
How loud about clickiez and arctic fox?
Already solved those! Arctic Fox around 2dba less than Jade and Clickiez around 5dba less! th-cam.com/video/GctkTio2_0Y/w-d-xo.html
The sound of Beam ❤🔥Spring is just the most beautiful IMO
:)
Aren't the Navy switches louder than the Jades?
Same click bar , different spring! So sound level is relatively the same! You can check my clicky switches sound test comparison to see the graph!
3:48 disney ass animation skeleton bone sound af
Omg your's so right! ahah
Asking the real questions!
:)
@@ClickandThock Could you make the frequency spectrum for the sounds bigger? That would be great
Will try!
A linear user's worst nightmare.
ahaha for sure!
Loud, but not unpleasant
I would say, really pleasant! :)
@@ClickandThock Yes!!!
This video made me happy. That is all lol
That's the objective! Thank you!
YESSSSSS
Long time project! :)
Ugh box switches sound like shit compared to others. Why do people hype them so mutch?
More clean , less rattlely, but that's a matter of preference!
Love how most of them are old, we gave less of a shit about other people back then lol
ahaha for sure!
