      Thanks Thomas! That's appreciated! :) Waiting for my first Blue Oval keyboard, maybe it should be in this video but I doubt they are as loud as Model F... ! xD But feel free to do it as well, I'm sure you could add more details than me! ;)

    I can recognize that Model F sound as the model F77 I have is not really that far off. As loud as the buckling springs are is in a metal case using solenoid makes them sound like a silenced switch in comparison.

      Oh interesting! Never tried any F77... So beautifull board!

    That IBM Displaywriter sounds really vintage to me despite that I have no idea what an old keyboard sounds like

    • @ClickandThock
      @ClickandThock  ปีที่แล้ว

      ahah yeh, these sounds vintage for sure!!

    Have you try clicky Fujitsu leaf spring yet? It has plate spring and kinda loud also.

    • @ClickandThock
      @ClickandThock  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! Got 2 boards with these, but nothing compared to these IMO... But I really appreciated Fujitsu Lear Spring!

    IBM Beam Spring is definitely my favorite sounding of those. I wouldn't want it for actual useability ofc as it's just so distracting, but it seems fun.

      @ClickandThock  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Feel the same as you! The other problem of beam spring keyboard is their lack of ergonomie.. they are sooo high!!

    I can't find a keyboard with Jade switches. Is my only option really to buy all the parts and watch tutorials on how to mount the keyboard? Thanks.

    • @ClickandThock
      @ClickandThock  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try this, you have the option to have it with kailh box jade! No need to build it! skyloong.vip/collections/gk96-keyboard/products/skyloong-gk96-dye-sub-dolch

    All the more reason to get excited for eventually finding an FK-6000 with futaba MA in it. I have a little TTY machine with some and really want a board with them.
    Also, I really wish I could find a board with proworlds. But that is a dream.

    Tfw this is all beaten if the keyboard with the beamspring activates the solenoid. 😅

      Thats for sure! So my Selectric ahah.. But it would be unfair to the switches mechanisms! :P

      Same click bar , different spring! So sound level is relatively the same! You can check my clicky switches sound test comparison to see the graph!
