So sharing this story was a bit of exposure for me. Revealing the type of things I would get into or tolerate were not healthy for self-esteem. When I engaged and entertained guys from social media time to time, I wanted to feel less alone, especially during the season of Quarantine. This was a time where I wanted to find love but end up finding lust every time. this cycle continued until I got tired of it and just believed that men only want the infatuation and fantasy of me, not the real me, the Godly me.
Now listen, I never went on no dating apps because they are scary lol but I used the Monkey app, Snapchat, and Instagram to connect with guys and basically just get me through Quarantine ...
However, I am not mad at any of the guys I take to or interacted with. I humbly have sympathy for them because Quarantine was hard for all of us.
Now my mindset has grown and matured to where i no longer seek validation from guys to maintain my confidence and self-esteem. Being the daughter of the Most High King is where I am the most secure. that's where my confidence comes from plus a journey of living myself which I'm still on the journey now. I hope sharing this side of my story gives women and girls the enlightenment that Jesus Christ will never leave nor forsake you, so you are never alone even when you feel lonely. He loves you eternally! Never forget that, sis. 💝😘
