Gabriella Melchor One thing I've learned from this video is understanding logic statements. Because of the different examples and scenarios provided in the video, I now have a better understanding of how to identify if the logical statements are true or false. Thank you!!!
Hi this is kevin bellido, One thing I really liked about this video, is how you went into depth with how to solve a negation in your examples! It was very easy to understand and apply to other problems outside the ones you provided.
This is Miranda Larrieu from your MGF1130. Thank you for the great video now I understand more about declarative statements and how you can negate them.
Valeria Di Lena Something I liked about this video is how it introduces logic statements and quantifiers in such a straightforward way. This video made it so much easier to understand how to actually identify if true or false.
Samantha Probert One thing I liked about the video was how you explained each step of the word problem-based logic equations before moving forward to the mathematical ones. I tend to have an easier time understanding word problems, so learning the basics of negations for different types of statements before moving onto the actual mathematical equations really helped me to not become confused/lost! Thank you :)
Anasztazia Lakatos One thing I liked about this video was how you explained every sentence in the examples before moving onto the next one. Being so detailed and in-depth helps understand what the statement means, and how to form the correct negation or equivalent.
Erica Pascua One thing I learned from watching this video is how to understand and apply logical statements. Also, it is important to understand and apply to negation or equivalent reasoning.
Cherine Lafrance Thanks for the video! I now have a better grasp of logic statements and quantifiers. It's really helpful to understand how they work together to form clear logical expressions.
Adrian Ledezma: The video helped me understand how negations are just opposite truth values, meaning that when one statement is true, the other is false, and vice versa.
Dorcas Alao - Quantifiers are used to express statements about "all" or "some" elements within a particular domain. They are essential for forming statements in predicate logic.
maryah smith This helped me to define a statement and qualifier. As well as learning how to figure out what statements can be counted as true or false since they can’t be both simultaneously.
Josue Tijerino The video helped me understand how a statement can mean something else by finding the basic negations in the word before moving on to the actual result.
Renee Phillip MGF1130 One thing I really liked about this video, is how you went into depth with how to solve a negation in your examples! It was very easy to understand and apply to other problems outside the ones you provided.
Stephanie Aguilar MGF1130 In this video learned that in statements sometimes there are words called universal quantifiers. These are words like all, each, every and no one because they describe characteristics that apply to everyone.
Gabe A - MGF1130 I took me a while to understand logic, and I still need to practice a little more. This video made it a lot easier to understand, now that I know and I have clearer idea of what the quantifiers are and do.

One thing I liked about this video is the detailed explanation to fully understand the material. Thank you!
That's great to hear!
Neil Padua - one thing i learned about this video is how to understand how logic statements and quantifiers work! thank you!

You're welcome! It's important to build a good foundation.

Hi Ms. Hearn this video helped me learn more about how to spot whether a quantified statement is either true or false thank you.
That's awesome!

The video helped me understand how negations are just opposite truth values, meaning that when one statement is true, the other is false, and vice versa.
Farah Ekhraiwesh, This lesson was kind of tricky but this video helped me understand how to determine whether quantified statements are true or false.
Dorcas Alao - Quantifiers are used to express statements about "all" or "some" elements within a particular domain. They are essential for forming statements in predicate logic.
My name is Geraldine Marquez. I learned that logic statements and quantifiers are essential for forming precise mathematical arguments.

MFG1130 One thing I liked about this video is that I now have a better understanding of how to use a negation in a problem. Thank you!
My name is Lark i'm taking mgf1130 MW 9:30 in this video I learned about logical statements and quantifiers.
Hello Ms. Hearn , not so simply chapter but the video helped alot ,The video helped me understand statements and quantifiers
Great to hear! It's a lot to process at first.

Thank you ma'am
Most welcome 😊
Thanks for this Video. Just wondering if you have one on Nested Quantifiers?
Not yet!
Kentia Williams
One key takeaway from the video is the distinction between different types of statements and the role of quantifiers in logic.

hi ms hearn, this video helped me understand how to write the negation of a scenario. it was a very helpful video
Ms. Hearn, isn't 10 ≠ 10 a valid negation for the last statement?
Good question. If the instructions don’t tell you to avoid putting a slash through the symbol, you can use a slash for a negation, yes.
@@MzMath Thanks for the clarification 😊
