Very tidy well thought out setup!! Fantastic. ...and extremely portable.
That is a thing of beauty. 🙂
Tannoy 🤘
Now that is a nice setup ! Congratulation 🤩
Super impressive & tidy. Great setup.
Wow! awesome job!!
Fly my guy 🔥
You put so much effort in to building both racks that you didn’t buy a label maker 🤦♂️
But that is the beauty of building your own custom rack is that it is Custom.
But ay you do you :)
Wow great
Life is complicated enough surely.
Could you link us to the hinged rack doors and battery backups you use? Amazing build!
First off, awesome presentation, very nice gear. But why Dante vs. an already available AVB, or MADI ? Does MIDAS not do AVB? I like the 24 mic's cause every things out the front, I can troubleshoot without leaving my chair. I have a similar rig, UFX II has 12 outs 12 ins and a 12 mic, but I'm doing monitor mix and front of house for live shows. I use totalmix remote on an I-pad, I keep all the ethercon crap out of the cabinet, it was too difficult to isolate the noise. Cool to have a battery, if everything is acoustic, life goes on. Not a rig for hot weather, packed very tight. I use the USB ethernet to the 12 mic, no need for a router. And now I added an Enttec USB to control a DMX lighting bus. I play guitar and sing also. but everything is set before a show, I just connect everything, and load the file from last performance. Lighting scenes are controlled via Ableton Live and a midi foot switch. The monitor mix sound quality is jaw dropping. Why people use wedges I don't know. Can you please put a list of where to get all the components? So... many.. useful... bits...
Where can we hear the final recording?
Impressive. May I ask a question. I see a lot of equipment inside the rack, including in the bottom drawer. What about air circulation and heat dissipation? Isn't there a bit of heat build-up, I can't see any fans. I have UFX III, 12Mic and Octamic in a 23 cm deep rack, but I use a 4 RU rack so that the air can still circulate a little. Many thanks.
What kind of XLR cables are they ??
✨✨👌🏻👌🏻
how did you setup QoS DSCP levels for the dante network switches, or does ubiquity not even support hardware QoS...?
Excellent setup. What are the speakers show and timecode 4.56?
Fluid Audio Image 2.
what type of ethernet cables are those? the right angle and well braced at the termination looks very nice
While thats a brilliant setup, it seems like an awful lot of tech, to accomplish a fairly simple recording/monitoring task. Thats gotta be well over $10k in gear to record and monitor a 4 piece group live. Either way, you thought of everything man its very impressive and i admit you can accomplish much more than a 4 piece group with that rig.
They could have gone with a cheaper AD DA. Ferrofish..but hey.
