Yeah they were insane. That’s why I don’t fully hate Snake Eyes. It’s irritating to just watch a hand trap simulator where no one makes plays, but the board breaker variants are super interesting. When both players can set up and play into the board, you get some very cool back and forth games. The fact he won through full R-Ace back row AND hand traps was really impressive.
These videos are more interesting that top 16 rn. Top 16 is just 90% snake eyes vs R-ACE. The other 10% is those two decks stomping anything else. Keep posting these!

I wouldn’t say it even dropped down to tier 2 but it’s definitely similar power level to…sigh the rest of the tier list. Which also has been left unhandled for far too long.

Also please add "unlimited" to search filter.
And when Fire King support comes SE will become even more powerful... even if they try to limit stuff the meta doesn't seem like it'll get better any soon

shame how this tournament ended, I hope there will be tourney specific ban list additions to promote deck diversity, as I miss seeing the Rikka plant decks pop off, Branded mastery being show cased, heck, even Mikanko and Purrely would have been more interesting than what the Top 16 became. I hope the deck diversity can be changed in the future tourneys. these vids are great, they legit showcase all the great duels that led up to that very mid Top 16, I miss when Tear was the core of the format, bc then it wasn't a case of you play it or suffer.

I have a question. I play mementos and when i have my boss monster combined creation and the field spell mementmictlan it says when i battle with my memento monster my opponent cannot activate spell or traps until the end of the damage step. However , when i attack a horus monster while my opponent has king sarc, and i have the field spell, my opponent still somehow triggers king sarc. Am i missing something ??
Sounds like the field spell only applies to ACTIVATED effects. When you battle vs Horus, the card does not activate, it's a passive effect. Notice how King's Sarcophagus doesn't start a chain link. You really need to have a dark blade ready to summon via Combined Creation's effect to pop Sarcophagus

King Sarc DOES start a chain, as seen by its effect having a colon ( : ) "Once per turn, at the start of the Damage Step, if your "Horus" monster battles an opponent's monster: You can send that opponent's monster to the GY" The thing is, Memento Field Spell make it so your opp cannot activate SPELL or TRAP, which means they can still activate Spell / Traps effects. And sending a monster battling a Horus is King Sarc's effect on the field. There is a difference.
And in terms of what I like climbing with: Sky Striker > R-ACE > SneSS > R-ACEist Sneks Which isn't accurate to their power level at all but sometimes the most effective isn't the most interesting to navigate.
I dislike how DKayed, and the chat reacts to TCG gameplay. Like half of y’all can’t play TCG bc you need master duel to prompt you to activate effects. That and the majority probably don’t know how their cards interact on cardboard:/
