    As an autistic teen who previously had very overwhelming sensory issues, this has helped me so much. I next to never get sensory overloads, and I rarely get sensory-related panic attacks anymore. Additionally, I can cope a lot better with my other senses now and I can function quite a bit better all around!
    I don't think I did the best job at sounding professional but it's helping me an incredible amount and I want people to know that it can help them too. I wish you guys luck regardless of if you try tomatis!

      For more than that. I have autism and PTSD, depresion and generalised anxiety. It helped me alot. My panic atacks disapeard, I have joy for life, my sensorial issues are still there. It helped me with a better focus and memory, I have healed alot of my trauma.

    So this is how the Listening Program works! I've been using the CD's for years and now finally know how they do what they do. :)

      Please note that the experience and results are dramatically different when you are "plugged" to the machine (the Electronic Ear). It can be compared to the difference between working out at home in front of your TV and going to a personal trainer. I personally do not recommend doing the listening by yourself. Your program must be tailored to your particular listening curve and there is a progressions in the training that is only possible when a therapist is controlling your progress. Also, a well written program affects you psychologically and you need "human" support when you go through the different phases. I am personally against self-help, at home training programs in that domain if you are serious about doing the therapy.

      Yes. The program was given to me by a learning disability specialist who works with such people as myself. and it has helped. I haven't done it in a long time though, and I can tell ! i need to get back to it.

      This video is explaining the Tomatis® Effect which is produced by a device called the Talks Up (the portable version of the former Electronic Ear) and does not use CDs at all. Talks Up listening programs change the music and voice in real time. As Michele Hermet alludes to, Tomatis® Practitioners and Consultants tailor programs to fit the client's needs. No one's CDs work the same way as Tomatis® does.

    This has helped my hearing loss. I went from a 40% hear loss back up to only a 10% hearing loss. It didn't help my tinnitus though, although it has not gotten worse.
    I would also like to know if it helps with the micro-hairs.

    Well they mentioned the prefrontal part of the brain ...and in people who have very bad chemical sensitivities where their smell is heightened like ten thousand times and everything smell drives them crazy, I hear it is because the LIMBIC part of the brain is damaged and needs to be HEALED or RESET.... can anyone tell me if this would help with that ?

    Could this work for Tinnitus?

    • @louloumelo
      @louloumelo 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It does but the program has to be tailored to your particular tinnitus (the frequencies at which it occurs).

    • @jonah4u
      @jonah4u 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      how can the program be tailored and how to find out which frequency is my hearing damage?

    • @louloumelo
      @louloumelo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We do a test comparable to a hearing test performed by an audiologist. According to tests results we can determine where the problem occurs.
