I wish Tucson would make an apartment complex for only women who are on low income and/or homeless.
Bless this place and these women💗💗💗

Same here. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and yes I intervened…men in long term care facilities STILL harassing women in their old age..I went dafuq off (for work) and told that man that NOT ON MY WATCH WILL I SIT BY AND DO NOTHING. I had the power of a pen…and I used it. He would call them names and it was usually the women who had cognitive issues that he would bother, so he thought he could get away with it. Not today Sir…not today. Tbf it was one man out of 22 males but that is one man too many for me. Like can a woman ever get peace? Good grief! For the people wondering what he did he would call women names and just be in their face and verbally abusive. Like an old bully with no shame.

Yet the cities house illegals mostly males of working age. They need to be separate from vulnerable women. Why don’t they.

Last year Sister Jose's was there when my mom and I needed them, with our 2 dogs and a cat, they help provide us a safe place and I was able to go to work and save up money and not have to worry about my mom who is on Oxygen and my animals while I was out! Thank you again to Sister Jose for all you have blessed us with and the hope that you provided!

We have money to put migrants in hotels, yet we have very little for struggling American citizens. That poor woman is working and paying taxes. Her tax dollars are going to house others while she can't get help. This is insanity!!!!

Bottom line the United States is a business not a country of citizens.. the country does not care about the working poor which is most of us .. the cost of housing is criminal that don’t have a damn thing to do with migrants

This been going on for decades. Back in the days the news did report on it and social media was non-existent. This was a problem on displacing African Americans now it has transpired to other communities. This is happening in all of Europe as well. Immigration multicultural was a bad idea. Back in the days, Americans never worried about housing nor food...those are necessities. 🥺 Damn

They are a scam. I've been a Property Manager. A credit check costs $7.00, a criminal background check costs $11.00. There is NO way that a $18.00 fee couldn't just be added into the first month's rent, instead of an upfront fee.

    • @english7451
      @english7451 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@NoliMeTangere1163yeah that’s a small amount. The problem comes when poor credit people put in 20 applications and lose that money. That’s like 400$ they can’t afford to lose. However they have poor credit or bad rental history.

I'm a woman in Pima county homeless and tomorrow the junker comes for my car. It will be a relief because car insurance is tripled if the insurance companies become suspicious you are homeless. Tucson roads are so bad that the car is just shot. Its a shame tho that men can get into this homeless place for women and also have a man's facility here in Tucson. More of us women are rough sleeping and there are rapists out here. One woman had her jaw broken. But make sure these men's virtues are protected at the cost of women.😢

Car insurance actually raised for everyone. It's because of 1. All these EVs are so expensive to fix. Plus, they are so heavy, they total other vehicles.
      2. All these POS that are allowed to keep stealing and wrecking vehicles. They are not held accountable and jailed. So they continue stealing vehicles.
I absolutely agree that it's abhorrent that men are allowed to stay here with vulnerable women. This is not a safe space for women if they allow men pretending to be women in there.
I wish you the best of luck getting into a better situation and life❤

I wish there were networking sites that could offer also cooperative houses to women in need. Sharing a house with other women, in other words, communal living, can be an answer for many, economically, socially, and in so many ways. Having "a room of one's own" in a shared environment (with good house rules!) can provide so much.

Thank you, Sister Jose's Women Center. Thank you for giving people a chance; a person without a home is vulnerable and not at fault of what happened. EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, has a right to live in a safe home, regardless of their income. Not having a home, or a place to live is a tremendous act of cruelty that cannot be allowed anymore. There is absolutely no reason for this to keep happening. Any one of us (any) could lose our home to a greedy, real state predator, on a whim of an individual. Let's come together, brave; let's give a hand to places like this, volunteer, reach out. Let's practice our principles of generosity, our ideals of bravery and courage, and get involved in our communities, organize, propose, vote. Let's make it so that no other person or family loses their home ever again. May my good Lord bless you all, and especially you, Sister Jose's Women Center. I hope you inspire more and more people, and everyone you help gets to live a happy life.

Yes, I was briefly a part of that homeless dynamic.. The rental home I lived in for seven yrs was sold. During that period the cost of housing skyrocketed. When I locked the door to that house for the last time, I had no where to go. Miraculously within several hrs I had a roof over my head… a lot smaller, more expensive and not close to being as nice as my previous dwelling. Being old, female, and on a fixed income does not allow many options. That is the sad truth here in the USA. Older women are much more vulnerable. This nation should be ashamed.

This is so sad because our government will help others all around the world. Before they have their own citizens out. It's just crazy it is so backwards. We are protesting for others around the world. When American citizens are literally falling down and sleeping on sidewalks. No other country would do what we do for others. Without doing the same for their own citizens. I don't understand it somebody please make it make sense. Why are we trying to look good for everybody else but bad for our own citizens. We will make sure others that come to this country. Have a place to live. This is so frustrating it pisses me off the citizens of America. How to live like this and we have so many homes.😡

I hope we can make families stronger. Financially discourage family disintegration and financially encourage family togetherness. This one person per unit of housing is too risky.. one illness and one will be on the street due to no family sharing costs and household labor... need more 3 generations together....aunts, uncles, siblings and so on sharing household costs and labor..

Im a 57yo woman. My husband committed suicide in 2020. I didn't want to return to the apartment where my husband's body lay so i left to find out that the pandemic had created so many people homeless. Im a veteran and even though i work full time- there is no place for me in America. Its too expensive and now im looking for another country. Taking my skills- college education and MY TAXES WITH ME!!
Btw- there are barely any services for women! This woman from 7-Eleven is what a broken Spirit looks like I hope this poor girl finds peace because she is exactly how I was in the beginning of my experience where's work surrounding myself with positive people who are actually moving in the right direction my spirit is lifting I'm getting a clear picture of exactly what I want now

This is happening all over the United States. We need a new president that cares about us. This one gives all our money away to wasteful causes while innocent people are suffering. It's only getting worse with the out-of-control inflation. Groceries, housing, etc. out of control. Whole families are now living out of their cars in some cases.

This problem has been a major issue since the Great Depression in the 1930s. If you think a Republican president is the answer then you haven’t been following what the Republicans concern themselves with, which is protecting the Rich in America and their interests.
Social Security was NEVER meant to be the ONLY source of income for Senior Citizens. Sadly many seniors failed to plan for their own retirement and now they don’t have enough money to live comfortably.
People need to begin planning for their retirement while they are in their 20’s. Even a small savings over a long period of time helps a great deal.
Inflation and costs are NOT controlled by the office of the president.
It is determined by a number of factors. The economy is affected by many factors some of which are influenced by World events.

As a former homeless heterosexual female I hope that this unhoused woman are grateful to those who treat them with respect, unlike the women from the shelter that I been residing here in California, as well as the co-ed shelter I resided before finding women shelter.,

Touching words: Hopefully we will be out of business because everyone will be housed., Amen to that.,
Sadly, based on repeated misconduct it might never happen.,

I don't understand why shelters don't use bunk beds. They could double their sleeping capacity. They can have more secure steps to the top bunk. In this way, the bottom bunk could have curtains around it for privacy, which would be SO nice.

Hostels do this. Less privacy and many older women can’t get to the top bunk due to health issues.
