    As a past customer of MOT and owning three Foretravels, I can only add that both will give a great service.

    We bought a coach from them several years ago. Not really knowing any better, we trusted them when we paid $750 for a pre-inspection….not sure for what now as we found plenty problems after signing the papers. Also…be careful when using them for insurance repairs. They tend not to follow specific instructions from the insurance company’s. They also have a tendency to charge you for things they can’t fix. They definitely have no problems taking your money even if they can’t fix something.

    • @RVIntoRetirement
      @RVIntoRetirement  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh now. We had an inspection done on a Foretravel they were selling and it was very detailed. We turned down the deal based on the inspection. I can't speak to their service, I have not used them for repairs either, I mostly go down the road to FOT. I just know they have a good selection of DP's

    • @ALongLongWaytoGO
      @ALongLongWaytoGO 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RVIntoRetirement Yes they have a great selection. And while it was a consignment coach, I wish there would have been a little more honesty. I’m sure they do good service, they just don’t read correspondence from insurance companies and they ended up getting us in quite a bit of a pickle….to the tune of $12k…..our coach ended up getting held hostage due to lack of communication between them and our insurance company. BUT….I do HIGHLY recommend Extreme Paint & Graphics in Nacogdoches if you ever need paint work done. They are 100% !!!

    Thanks for taking the time to check the lot over. They do seem to have some good pricing and lots of available product.
    You are right - they have a slew of Foretravels. I'm not so fond of of that old boxy styling but it's good to know they drive good and hold up well over time.

    • @RVIntoRetirement
      @RVIntoRetirement  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does, at least the older ones do that were made on their proprietary chassis. We had a Country Coach previously and while they make a great product for us the quality was much better in the Foretravel.

    I went to thier website, and perhaps they find the best of the best, as far as no junk, but very few priced for normal folks, even going back into the 90s. I mean I don't want to give over a 100K for something that is over 30 years old, not when there are so many for sale right now. Getting a high price for your used motorhome is great, but how long did it sit before purchase.

More than my present wife ! If I get divorced I will leave her my house and Keep my lovely motorhome, don't like motorhomes with a front door access , mine opens in the mid section . No new is not better than old in our opinion. If you have deep pockets and can afford new go with the premium models (prevost, Newell, Foretravel) - the quality is there. But big name mainstream brands we just don't see the quality there like older coaches.
