I visited Lebanon before the explosion and it’s a paradise on earth, not sure why you’re giving a beautiful country a bad reputation, and I’m from a western country. You should delete your video!

I’m Indian Canadian and I’ve visited Beirut several times . I love the city . Maybe you would do well in southern Lebanon with Hezbollah since your from Pakistan and like it there under the tunnels 😂. Lebanese people are the most amazing people in the world minus the inbred Hezbollah terrorists.

Same could be said about any country.. When people (mostly from West/EU)spew shit without visiting " a country"most of the westerns accept it as a " scientific fact".
The man just stated his experience.

You do understanding that Lebanon is facing a very bad Financial Crisis. Lebanese can no longer get the $1 for only 1,500 L.L.
Lebanon is gorgeous you just have to be understood and generous and know that the people living there are living their worst times in the history of this country

I thought exactly the same. Better if instead of nattering on & on if he had done his homwork. It was the same in her Amman/ Jerusalem video. We all know its a failed state controlled by terrorist organisation, Hezbollah, backed 100% by those nice Iranians. They are provoking a huge war with Israel. It is not recomended to visit accordingly. All very sad . Beirut was known as "Paris of Middle East" decades ago.

Mr. Ahmad, Thank you for the subtitles! Very useful information. In Turkey in 2021 a Lebanese man there told me that Beruit was an even better deal than Istanbul. I question that now, based on your video. If you have travelled to India, can you compare costs and hassles? India is a great deal and I hear that Pakistan is even better. BTW, my experience in Turkey, after visiting many cities there, was that the Turks are scrupulously honest. I did not get overcharged there.

I have been to Lebanon and went to Beirut. . . I found the people very friendly very open the food out of this world (love the coffee just perfect), even I understood these people have been through a lot and still are, but they always had a smile for me . . . if it helps go to local shops to get cash on the black market, you get a much better rate. x

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. This is the first time, I'm hearing someone to complain about Lebanon. Regarding the airbnb, I strongly suggest you give a bad review so no one else will fall victim to that Egyptian lady and maybe airbnb won't even list her accommodation on their site. Best of luck!

The exchange rate discrepancy between the official currency rate and the black market rate in Lebanon is a stark reflection of the economic challenges facing the country. While online search results may show one value, the reality on the ground is quite different due to the ongoing economic recession. Despite being a country known for its stunning beauty, Lebanon’s political turmoil has significantly impacted its economic stability.

Im from Lebanon country is beautiful even after its trouble time people are warm friendly.
You have stayed in the wrong place Lebanon is known for its nightlife so you saying theres nothing there .
Im sure from what I read snd hear Pakistan is no better no water no electricity currency value has no foundation even Pakistan government is in shambles.
So before you criticise any country read blogs visit different area's such as Byblos , Raouche , boat rides just to name a few. Also your entire video was set around your airbnb visiting a country means exploring the country not just the close vicinity of where you stay.

Dude, what are you talking about? the prices you were given for the phone card are very fair. There are prices starting from 7$ and go up depending on the plan and how many days you want it to last. Also, you literally visited one cafe. Not a beach, you didn't go to tourist areas, no popular places. You lived like a normal lebanese without doing anything interesting, you definitely won't find it interesting. Its like visiting a cabin on the beach and not even leaving it to enjoy the weather, what is this bro.
Also, the money problem. Ofcourse they don't have change. All/most shops trade in lebanese LIRA, you HAVE to exchange a 100$ bill before you give it to a shop. They are not telling you they don't have change to scam you, but because literally when you give them dollar they will give you the rest in lebanese LIRA because bills smaller than 100$ is almost non exsistant, except for 20$, and 50$ anything lower they won't have to give back.

Not very generous from you to visit another country and say bad things about it. If your experience was not good, not returning is good enough. Remember your experience can't be extrapolated to the rest of the foreign visitors, therefore it is not fair to pretend your own experience is the reference for all the rest of the visitors.
