I just found y’all’s content a little over a month ago. I’ve got to say there have been some great advice on your channel from legends and experienced people etc. I always find bits and pieces from each episode, but every time Cory started specking my eyes and ears were perked up like I had just gained a lifetimes worth of knowledge in just over an hour. Great conversation!
I live in NE Oklahoma, and this guy is spot on. Remember the song "Oklahoma" the wind blows here almost every day. I live in the river bottoms where there is a lot of swirling, so you really really have to be smart about your stand locations. Also entrance and exits getting to and from your stand can be challenging as well. I love your channel and watch every episode, but this one rings close to home, so it was especially interesting.
Very informative and clear on how to utilize what you see on places with large cutovers. There are a few places I am looking at hunting this season on public from this thanks!!!
Great episode guys! I’m from S.C. and I really enjoy listening to other hunters talk about the great North American whitetail! I’ve definitely grown as a hunter, thanks to y’all! Keep up the hard work! Quick question/ On a previous episode yall talked about some tough pants, maybe briar proof. I believe you were talking about scouting and how much abuse the pants could handle. Do you remember the name of them? If so, please let me know.
How do I find the episode 293 you guys talked about in another episode? You guys said it was about tending grunts. Couldn’t find it on here or Spotify.
It's on spotify, Apple podcast, and our website. Just search Richard Fought and it should pull up. Its easy to do on Apple podcast but spotify is tricky
There's a new stand coming that's going to give hunters more options in tree selection than ever before. Now, every tree is the right tree and you can setup in almost complete silence.

Good stuff. Reminds me of the club I grew up in down in Selma. Cutover galore with hardwood swamp drainages cutting through
Good stuff .. You can relate to Cory's explanation of drainage hunting even in a big wood setting, same kind of ideas apply.
Thanks for the feedback and we are glad you enjoyed it!

When you explain SMZ’s you need to say stream management zone it clears up what you’re talking about, great show
Yes sir! We get so caught up in these interviews we need to slow down and explain SMZ’s more for better clarification. Thanks for watching!
Then people wouldn’t know what streamside management zone means and would be complaining about that. Everybody has google Use it

It’s the First Lite SawBuck pant. They work great for us

Basically the dude has easy hunting..one strip of timber running thru miles of open ground 😂. Dont take a rocket scientist
And it's a hunting lease with controlled pressure
Still gotta put in the hours
Good stuff but I think it would be better with some visual examples as you talk about terrain types and deer movement. Great Job guys!
Thanks for the idea!
Smz???
