Completely agree with what Rachit said about the lacunas in the altroz cng 1. No cruise control even in the top variant 2. No eco/city mode button 3. Idle start/stop button missing 4. No AMT option With that I was also expecting altroz cng to be launched in harbour blue colour but that too is missing.
Just a small suggestion, you take it or not it's upto you. It would be definitely useful if u mention the top speed of the car at which it is smooth n stable. No matter which type of car it is, petrol, diesel, electric or CNG.

So true, a CNG auto is definitely needed. I mean, agar city mein hi CNG chalana hai then they should provide Auto box also as an option. By the way, I do think they should provide auto box for commercial CNG vehicles also, it will not only improve the life of the gearbox but also keep the driver healthy and fresh. Fleet operators definitely need CNG auto cars

Automatic isn't availabe in CNG today due to technical limitations of engine when coupled with CNG - it gives lower torque output. In future, if and when engines become more advanced, we might see automatic CNGs but today if they bring it, it will not be able to pull the kerb weight effectively.

@MotorOctane I am planning to buy this one but I am doubtful about Altroz's future prospects if even this new update fails to impress the buyers to the extent that Tata would perhaps like to continue making it in future as well. I have a Nano and it is a reasonably good entry level car but we are having a lot of problems in getting its spare parts as Tatas were forced to stop its production secondary to very poor response by the buyers even though it was a reasonably good product. Do you see same thing happening with Altroz in future, say around 5 to 7 years down the line? How will the buyers get the spares in that condition? Another thing I wanted to ask is about the after sales service of Tata? For Nano it was not good.

Should make videos on topics like charging infrastructure for EVs, Services by EV manufacturers, how to look for charging stations effectively and most importantly as a prominent moto YT channel you should question companies regarding these problems as well.
Tata even though anecdotally their service is horrible are levelling up the game here, they have completely rethought the CNG car and built the car around CNG, unlike other manufacturers who put CNG cylinder as an after thought in their entry level segments to entice the cost conscious market. With this car CNG can go mainstream as a primary car for small families.
Tata should have provided 4 cyl engine under the hood for altroz which is the main missing part. Even Wagon R 1.2 comes with 4cyl..not sure why Tata is not bringing 4 cyl for this segment.. Tata 1.2 revotron 3 cyl is launched in 2014, though it is tuned for this car, still if we consider people will drive this for 5 years and then engine life after 5 years is doubtful..
Automatic is not available in CNG because that would again push the pricing up by 1-1.5L as the manufacturers charge such premium between manual and petrol. A lot of automatic cars are retrofitted with cng and they work flawlessly without any issues whatsoever.
My concern is when we load luggage at the back of the car. Doesn't it affect the CNG cylinders? The luggage will push the cylinders and the chance of this mishappening
I've asked many automotive companies, regarding CNG with Automatic transmission for city drive, most of them said only one thing "automatic transmission with CNG is not compatible somehow, it is under research, but somehow this particular combo is not compatible"
If you engine works fine with CNG transmission too should have no problem delivering the power that is made. But the loss of power and torque in a CNG run engine makes it difficult to tune in an AMT. So manufacturers do not prefer offering CNG AMT cars
Ek detailed video bana dijiye on Tata Punch or any similar segment SUV car in which all important features are loaded apart from lucrative features... I mean features like TPS , hill hold, traction control...all these features in one car below 10 lakhs... If possible please try to make one video...✨🙏
