Sorry for the wait of another doll! I have lots of plans for upcoming dolls and I am sooooo excited! Here I present you something that scared me when I was little, a Mananangal! I obviously never seen one, but they really nailed it in our head to scare us haha! I hope you guys enjoy this doll! I had lots of fun creating something truly spooky ooky for you guys, and to all my Filipinos, comment "PAK GANERN' LOL

Lmao i feel like thats one thing me and hextian have in common. We both grew up in folklore catered areas, but not to far from home.
Long story short i grew up hearing of leshies and swamp creatures crawling in my windows to get me if i stayed up late.
Here’s the story I came up with for the doll: This mananangal would transform into a normal woman to target certain people for food, until one day she meets a kind, handsome man during her hunt. She fell for him and they became close, while she kept her true nature secret from him. Eventually they became a couple and got married. However, on the night of their wedding, the groom discovered his bride feasting on the body of a pregnant guest in secret. Overcome with heartbreak and guilt, the mananangal knew that he could no longer love her and feasted on him right there and then. She then proceeded to attack the rest of the people at the wedding and flew into the night.
(To those who are wondering about the part where she transforms into a human, I heard that was another trait that mananangals had. IDK if it’s true, though. Anyway, sorry if my grammar was bad.)

Hi Hextian! I think you did a good job on the gore part of this doll. Im an EMT, so ive seen some of the same things you saw in the reference pics (or so id imagine) and can agree its not for the faint of heart. But you did an amazing job!

If you can try to catch me but catching me is tough. 'cause the only way to kill me is to find my lower half.

Ive been watching movies of this creature, in tye movies they call it a As-wang (I didnt spell this right). They are very interesting to learn about when I was looking for movies about vampires.
Considering this doll, quite literally, resembles a demonic vampire creature, that's separated at the waist and who's body is slowly decaying, it feels inappropriate to call her beautiful, but I just can't help myself. She looks truly goergeous (yes, that was a pun and not a spelling mistake). Everything matches so nicely, the tounge, the wings, the dress and of course the doll itself ... both halfs. Also, she is slaying that eyeliner, like she's gonna slay her pray.

My mother has encountered one when she was still living in her province, their "neighbor" was an old lady and my grandma was pregnant with my uncle at that time and this old lady continued coming to their house and one day she just disappear. Rumors said that most provinces has alot of urban creatures and they disguise as people. You did an amazing job capturing the "mananangal"!

Something I absolutely love about you, is how sweet you sound, how friendly and nice, while you warn us to be careful with hot glue guns and exacto knives, as if we were young kids.

Its a mythical creatures in Philippines theres 6 mythical creatures. theres duwende ( dwarf,elf, goblin), kapre(Bigfoot) ,tikbalang(half human- half horse),The white lady, Serena(mermaid) and mananangal or the tikwi ( its a ghoul known as aswang) ....and im Filipino also byeeee.....
