What is your resolution ?? It’s like i have the same hp but the resolution is 1366*768 and it won’t change !! And i can’t see the backlit ! Please if there’s any possibility to help me !
there're 5 or 6 display modifications for that laptop( with tuchscreen, with IPS screen, with cheap screen(low reso and quality). And there're 1 display with 1366*768 resolution. Others - with full HD. So I guess you got cheaper version with that max reso.
HP 450 G5 is 1920x1080. If u have a keyboard backlit u can use F11 for setup light. Consider that: all probook G5 support backlit keyboard but change this component is very expansive. In europe keyboard no backlit cost 30 Euro + Tax...backlit cost 80 euro + tax!!!
I have no issues with the plastic on the laptop and have had it for over a year. This is not the latest model however, they have since come out with the G6 model.
The backlit power cable may have become disconnected? It is easy enough to get to if you have a small screw driver. Just search for HP Probook 450 keyboard replacement on Google to find instructions on how to get to the keyboard cables.
