    Hello, the Knipex 950221 Cutter is perfect for cable channels , in particular wiring channels (the slotted ones) , they are used in control cabinet construction. Much easyer than saw them with a saw, yes they have a very soft plastic. Best regards from Germany

    Check out the Erdi "Blechscheren". They go up until HSS steel with minimum 65 HRC, if you choose the violet handles. Blue ones are however fine IMHO if you don't plan on cutting stainless steel a lot.
    They just cut everything absolutly effortlessly. I use them basically daily.

    Nice tools, actually I have the knipex scissors, but the handles are little different. It is an older version but with the exact same part number. The plastic only shears are used in electric enclosure, for cutting the cable ducts, and it's working perfectly. I think they designed the tool for that. The Bahco screwdrivers are very nice. 👍👍

    To cut that Plastic try using sheet metal shears. A large pair. They cut mostly everything for me. The old vintage ones are very good.

    FYI. I worked in a plastics factory when I was younger, one job was cutting excess material off vac-formed polycarbonate emergency exit signs. To get a cleaner cut we'd use a table saw and run it into the back of the blade, operated from the side of course with the workpiece in a jig so your hands are well out of the way. It did 'grab' a bit occasionally!

    Maybe setup a nichrome wire to cut the polycarbonate.

    I use bahco slim screwdrivers all day every day, the dark rubbery surface goes bad efter a year or to, and the PZ1 and PZ2 brake if they look at a Philips screw, and as an electricia, they are mixed up everywhere, but I love the slim Handel it is just better and faster!!

      There are a thicker version of the screwdrivers
      A slim screwdriver has to be slim all the way :) wiha and wera can learn a thing or to in my mind

      @@casperronge2563 I thought its Snap-on not Snap-off.🤣 I actually have the good old Sandvik-Belzer version of these before they move production to Argentina but not intend to break them off after all these years. Totally forgot they bought Palmera as Herramientas Eurotools SA. So I wonder if these are still made in Irun.
      But seriously, did you ever taken a look at the felo ERGONIC VDE E-Slim series?

    Matador (same Lux Tools, Kraftwelle etc) is here in Germany a Trade Mark it means there are most selling in Warehouses similar HomeDepot- we called Baumarkt -. The quality is not the same at made in Germany- most it’s made in China or Taiwan. I have a Matador wrench set an broke the 17 Nut easy… it will not happen by a Hazet Würth or Stahlwille Nut … here we have a Proverb for this kind of Tools - wenn du billig kaufst, kaufst du 2x - it mens - you by cheap tools you bye twice… greetings from 🇩🇪

    Where did you get the wiha hammer?? I can’t find it anywhere

    • @BZEUG
      @BZEUG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this one is a little challenging to find. I put links to it in the description area of the video. I bought mine from Amazon Germany, which isn't difficult to do. Here is my affiliate link. Wiha hammer: amzn.to/3VCJhCS

    Awesome, thanks for the video again! Those shears are new to KTC, but I TH-camd them and they've actually been out for a long time it seems. I like the Wiss W7T shears personally. I use them as scissors and also to cut metal materials. They work great. Happy New Year Buddy!

    I was interested in that Wiha hammer as something that would fit easily in my tool bag. However, I saw several reviews that complained of a claw breaking off. I ended up going with the short handled Stiletto 10oz titanium hammer. Small enough, yet packs the punch of a heavier hammer. I would return those Matador pliers and Knipex cutters. Better to spend the money on something better suited to the job you need done.

      Wow, I didn't know about the claw. My plans for it are light duty and I think I'll keep it that way. Thank you for that feedback.

    Are Bahco not Swedish?

    • @BZEUG
      @BZEUG  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, Swedish brand, but most of their products that I buy are made in Spain. Not sure why.

    Knipex 95 02 21 vinyl cable channel cutter is not so good as it seems. When you try to cut channels over 65 mmit starts to be cumbersome. I personally would rather use a miter saw box.

    BAHCO insulated slim screwdriver set their PH are notorious for breakin the tip, so remember to bring an extra !

    Kind of shocked that these Matador pliers made it through QC. Even for an set of pliers for removing these stupid lug nut covers its pretty bad. Worked for an VW dealership for a few years and can't remember anyone using these. I remember them only hanging on the wall cause I had to organize the special tools once we run out of space for the new acquired special tools. There were tools every dealership had to have and tools that were more optional as these pliers. So I guess they didn't sold many of these. Not enough to bother making them themselves or talking VBW into making them for Matador. So they choose the cheapest OEM they could find for it but can't remember the VAG branded ones were that bad quality.
    One day our workshop master drove to the next hardware store and bought all of the cheapest small flathead screwdrivers they had. A college of mine had to heat them up with the torch and bend the tips slightly over 90° and every one in the workshop got one of these to remove these stupid lug nut covers. Which worked perfectly by the way.

    Anyway the best electrician scissors are made in Italy by Intercable and the best model is F1. They are being sold also as Weicon in Germany. These Knipex scissors are stuff for children, they do not cut anything in comparison with Intercable F1

    Happy New Year my friend, great video! ☺️🫱🏻‍🫲🏼. I also like these angled shears, they are very ergonomic and give you more leverage. I have this wiha hammer and liked it a lot too, its very confort to use and compact. About Bahco screwdrivers, how do you compare them to PBs?

    • @BZEUG
      @BZEUG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. I don't have any PBSwiss VDE screwdrivers yet. I am sure the PBSwiss is much better, but I am biased in favor of PBSwiss.
