    I just received my M96 engine today; I oiled it, fueled it, and it started up on the first try with starting it by hand, just like you did in this video! Small and a great piece of machine work and engineering! I have built small model engines similar to this one, and I can tell you, it is a lot of work and expense for all the tooling that is required to build one! This one is a bargain for what you get at this price!

    Can you explain the 6 cycles please?

      It is simply that there is an extra rotation between firings due to a cam gear that is 3 times the size of the gear on the crank shaft. The 1895 Mery Explosive engine has a similarly larger cam gear and Aermotor made an 8 cycle engine. An extra rotation gives it 2 extra cooling strokes.

      No it's not.
      Count the gear ratio in the side, and you will see that it's 2 :1 making it A FOUR STROKE.
      If it had a 3:1 ratio would then make this a 6 stroke.
