Thank you, just what I was looking for and the best instructional video I've seen on TH-cam, you did not assume people knew where everything was and did not whizz by so fast you could not see where stuff was. Plus thanks for the jam - Boarder.
Only used Gimp once before to produce a .ico file as did not realise I could do it in irfan, but productive work in less than an hour thanks to you.
Any chance you could do one on aPNG or animated webP :)

Very helpful video, Wendy. You solved the issue for me. While I like the end products from the Gimp program, I also wish that the program's capabilities were more user-friendly. Some of the capabilities (such as creating a circle shape image in Gimp) are not intuitive or straightforward.

This right here is why ive downloaded Gimp 100 times and ALWAYS delete it. Unnecessarily complicated. Its like the creators of gimp made a bet to see who could make their piece of the program more complicated and hard to use. It is so convoluted that it is mind boggling. we're adding a freaking ring around a picture and it requires a 10 minute video with 700000 steps.
