Mitch thanks for the St George upload so much really made my day espically since it’s one of the og Rockdale 08 units SL41 always did my house way back when I was little b4 80 and 66 took over but still the WSN and SITA Environmental solutions memories were the best if u got more St George WSN or SITA vids please upload them sometime soon I want to see my childhood nostalgia thanks to ya❤🙌🏽
Arhhh and i just notice now when you took this i can hear on the news radio near the start that there was a subject about some classic historic cars they were talking about!
Correct me if im wrong but with this and the hills cleanaway spak theres seems to be no difference in the directions of the joystick to the lifter between both bucher mj or spak! Are both the same directions? With The spak i assume feels bulkier on joystick and not as smoother but consistent with bin lift up and atleast plenty of hopper volume for hard to empty waste while bucher mj seems lighter on joystick and alot smoother on pickups but with the cheap hopper walls that break and less hopper volume compare to some of the ones they did in the pass eg. The old mkiiis and some mkivs with better unbreakable and larger designs!
So to compensate for not being able to use the lifter and slide at once, they speed the slide up coming in so it doesn't slow the driver down. Am I right?
Does look like the slide was a bit quicker coming in vs going out, but I still reckon there's some deception there viewing it off the camera. I know what you mean about the banging too, but that'd possibly just be an ageing characteristic. SL31 was banging around a lot in the end, especially notice it in that video Liam took of me, otherwise in my own uploads sometimes it would cushion properly and other times the slide would hit home hard.

Hey Mitch, had no idea you did some time in gr, that's sick
Yep, I did 3 months there when I first started with SITA in late 2013, then I transferred to Randwick afterwards.
@@AussieGarbo nice work mate

Classic symptom of too much pressure no finesse, which flies in the face of : too go fast is to go slow, to go slow is to go fast.
