  • Time for a heaping mix of mishmash fun at Magic Kingdom! It's day five of our May trip and it brings us to a walkthrough of the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House and ending the night by seeing what the MagicBand+ can do during the finale of the Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular!
Some of our park days have structure to them with a specific goal in mind and others are more wandering, like this one. We love the wandering ones, just as much as the epic event ones so we hope you enjoy the ride too. :)
Some fun little edits in here too including a fun little attraction mashup. Can you spot it? ;)

    14 to 24mm sounds perfect

The low light performance is like a whole different world

I use a 17 to 28mm lens for filming on rides. A 28 to 200mm for filming shows.

I love the 16-35 for just standard vlog content, but it's really tough for filming anything else like stage shows. I'd love something like the 28-200 zoom for that! I also really like a wide/fast prime for rides like a 20mm or 14mm, but I kind of have to pick only one since a lot of gear with two kids and a stroller, etc can be quite a challenge. :)

I own the a7siii. It's a complete over kill for low lighting, but hey, I'll take better low light performance any day

This one is a sigma 20mm 1.4 for this trip. Thanks so much! :)

What picture profile do you use?😊

      I believe it's PP8... the S-Gamut3.Cine / S-Log3

I use S-Log3 with Cine EI and then convert either using the basic Sony lut or via Filmic Pro. Then I just adjust as necessary using lumetri in Premiere. I keep wanting to learn DaVinci but no time. 😄

What do you set your biterate?

Since I'm shooting at 24fps I believe it is 100Mbps. I would like to try higher with faster frame rates, but I don't think I have any cards that support that right now. Might try renting some in the future.

What do you have your iso range set to ?

    • @adventuresindisneying
      @adventuresindisneying  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

On the FX3 I set it to one of the two native base ISO ranges... either 800 or 12,800 depending on the lighting conditions. Sometimes I go lower if I want to go for a shallower depth of field and I don't have an ND filter or if it's just exceptionally bright. But mainly I stick to those.

I believe the A7Siii has a base of 640. And I use the CineEI mode.

24fps - kinda addicted to that “cinematic” look!

@@adventuresindisneying doesn't that add more motion blur?

It looks like the scenes are a little over exposed. Otherwise great job.

Thanks so much! Yes always battling that with shooting at 1/50th and no ND in that Florida sun 😄. Also I’m still learning how to properly auto expose shooting log and then correcting later.
