My older brother loved From Ashes To New. He went to your concerts when they came through town. He passed away recently at just 23 years old.
He introduced me to your music. I love this stuff. And it is all because of him.
His life was a mess, but he had started to find his path and was figuring it out. Just as life was looking up for him he was taken away.
It was a freak accident. He was out doing what he loved and just enjoying life. Living life the best he could and having a good time.

He was so awesome to talk to, dude! I met him after his show in St. Paul about a year ago and told him about how his music is helping me through some bad shit (LOML cheated and left me, best friend turned his back on me, and I almost committed suicide all in the previous 3 months) and he looked me straight in the eyes and said "it's never worth it man, it will get better, just keep pushing on." I really wanna meet him again and tell him how right he was and how much better things have gotten because of what he said

I was their only VIP in that show and me and the band got some dinner after. I have huge amounts of respect for them. Also I'm glad you made it through man, happy for you 😁

Lacey Humphrey Linkin Park is my absolute fav band as well. They help me more than any sort of other sort of support could. It’s like every lyric is telling me I can hang on and that I’m enough. If I could ever meet Mike or any of them, I don’t know what I’d do apart from hug and thank them. They are literally the best therapists I could ever have blasting through my headphones. I’m eternally grateful to them because without them i don’t know how I’d cope. Best wishes. 👍👍

Just saw you guys in Casper, Wyoming, opening for the incomparable Skillet. I’ve seen a lot of bands in my life, but never have I seen an opening act that so amped up the crowd for the main event. (Just so you know, the people in the stands weren’t coming down as you kept bidding them because their specific tickets disallowed it.) Taken as a whole, that was the best show I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of shows.

Saw these guys in concert at The Machine Shop, and with it being my first concert i knew these guys were real but once they got up on stage it hit me like holy shit, these guys are actually real life in the moment if that makes sense.

I was severely depressed, struggling with constant anxiety, just gave up cigarettes (and other bad habits), had zero friends, was working at a job I hated, and overall, my whole life just sucked. But this song reminded me...I won't break.

I met these guys at a show in Columbia, MO and as a music production major I was standing there listening to this band I’d never heard of before and just trying to listen to the message they were putting out with the release of the first album they had put out at the time. Apparently I was standing there with a look on my face like I wasn’t enjoying the show which was not true at all as it was amazing I was just trying to take it all in as I was baffled. Matt noticed my face and immediately tried to get me to put an enthused look on...after the show I met him and talked and took some pictures together and explained that I loved it but was taking it all in. A few months later they were playing at warped tour back near my home town in Syracuse NY and I watched their show and then jumped in line to get the chance to talk to Matt again. Without fail he remembered who I was from the first show and I told him that I was active duty military and he started talking about how his tattoos were dedicated to the military. He also started talking to me about my music career. He made me want to continue to strive to be the best that I could be. Truly an inspirational person, and to this day I’m still grinding hard to get to where I need to be. And just to see this new video just amps me up from the beginning as he talks about his hardships with the band. The truth is, you made it happen Matt and it’s inspiring to say the least. I hope to see you guys soon! The band is still killing it! Keep up the hard work because it’s paying off!
