Lived in Houston 42 years, never been through these areas of town. I guess nobody owns a lawn mower or a trash can. No matter what your income level is, take pride in what is yours.

They don’t care. These neighborhoods are mostly black neighborhoods and full of gang violence, drugs, and prostitution. They don’t care what living conditions they are in. Plus it doesn’t help that the city doesn’t also clean up the streets. Our mayor is disgusting for not giving our tax dollars to schools and communities like this to better Houston.

People need to take pride in where they live, pick up your trash. Just because you may not have money doesn’t mean you have to live nasty.

It’s much deeper than that buddy, trash scattered like this happens everywhere humans are, you ever go outside on trash day if it was windy or stormy? … it goes to show you how some areas in the US just get neglected and ignored and people just expect it to fix itself.

This is not all about taking pride in where you live, or picking up trash. It's about where all of the federal maintenance funding is going. What neighborhoods is it all being dumped into? Certainly not the Negro communities. Pigs don't love to live in filth. They're programmed to do so.

If they would get together and clean up their community that wouldn’t happen. Ghettos are only the fault of the people who live there. No one is stopping your community from coming together picking up trash, mowing yards, and slapping some paint on your house. They live in ghettos because they create them.
