Lamar Davis had far more story in the game and supposed to have its own playable character future but at the time of GTA-V development, His voice actor, Slink Johnson was dealing with legal issues, ultimately leading to him have a farmore minor role in the game
It IS most excusable cut content on this list. Lamar's actor were under police custody at the time so Rockstar had to cut off any related content. And Franklin IS a characteristic and fun character.

The best removed features are Gator Keys in GTA VC, snow in GTA IV, and Lamar as a protagonist in GTA V, because in GTA VC, the map would have been better and the map would have been bigger and there would have been more activities to do, and in GTA IV, if there were snow the city would have been beautiful and the vehicle handling would have made more sense since it's slippery, and in GTA V, since Lamar is a funny and a great character in the series, we would have had fun by playing as him and we could have get side missions on Grove Street to take over the streets again just like in GTA SA.
Actually no on the last point. You would play as Lamar after Franklin's death in one of the three ending, which means people, who chose to kill Michael, or Trevor, wouldn't be playing as Lamar still. And if you choose to kill Franklin ... I mean at that point the story is over, all you get is a sandbox freeroam, no story mission at all, so what would be the point in playing as Lamar? No cutscenes, just generic dialogues with some NPCs, ... Like what would be the benefit of such gameplay?
Even if Lamar was added to be a protagonist at the end of the ending people would still be angry about it and sad at the same time so I think deathwish was the best option in my opinion
Exactly. People don't realize, what "playing as Lamar" really means. It just replaces Franklin AT THE END of the game, it's essentially a sandbox freeroam, no missions, you can do generic stuff, stunts and whatnot, but no story missions, the game is done at that point. So yea, playing as Lamar in a sandbox? Just why?
The best cut features in SA are also the Houses with interior on the main map, Skateboard, more of Liberty City including landing in the airport and alcatraz with its cut missions. And in GTA 4 it is the countryside and Car tuning. In GTA 5 are so many planned things cut like Las Venturas and San Fierro or all the side gameplay from sa, its just sad.
The best removed feature of GTA IV is the death music, for some odd reason, the developers said that it was meant to be triggered if Niko has low health which it didn't make sense, some people upload a video about the death music on how it should have been in their perspective which it does make more sense than how the developers comment it

Actually, Darkel would have cause Rockstar a huge problem during the 9/11 incident because he was mad man bum that hates childrens where some of the missions does involves killing them, and the Hot Coffee feature wasn't a very good idea neither because it caused a huge controversy for Rockstar, the people who made the cheat codes to enable it on console got the game banned for sale where it got A rated, so Rockstar had to remove the code of the feature on the newer versions so it could be sold again, even the unused girlfriends models for the Hot Coffee feature were replaced with their default models in the 10th anniversary version
Killing Franklin would be one of the ending, instead of saving them all, you would choose to kill either Michael, Trevor, or Franklin, at which point Lamar would take over. You do realize, that at this point the story is finished and all you get from now on is a freeroam sandbox game with generic stuff, stunts and random activities? So Lamar wouldn't replace Franklin as a playable character in the story, he would just take his place in the sandbox portion after the story ended. So yay for Lamar gameplay!
7:30 I believe this final mission was intended to be for Lamar himself. Which could explain why Lamar kinda like disappears in the story for like half the game. His story was cut for his intended 4th protagonist role. And the final mission was actually his not Franklin. And the 3 choices on who to kill would have been Trevor, Michael or Franklin.
My favorite cut content is... well, this cool feature that is in every GTA except GTA V - when vehicles do not land on their wheels they do not explode. I loved this feature. Too bad they removed it in GTA V. It's literally called destroying the fun.
Best features in every GTA game that I can't forgive rockstar for removing it: 1) GTA Vice city for those who dont know the reason why Ken Rosenburg's speech at the beginning of the game sounds choppy & weird is that because it was cut because they transfered the office from near the ocean view hotel your first safehouse in the game to you know where it is now. 2) I also heard some rumor that because Gta vice city is based on scarface the pink apartment with bloody bathroom & floating chainsaw apartment 3c was suppose to be another safehouse of Tommy where he will torture those who ambushed them from the beginning of the game & torture them in the bathroom with the chainsaw. I don't get why they removed that mission just because of brutality Grand Theft Auto is a crime simulation. 3) In GTA 3 there was this some kind of secret hideout for street gangs who does nothing but stay still. If you kill them you'll get a molotove from them. Aparently based on the theories they were suppose to be part of a violent mission that R* once again have to remove. 4) Skateboard in GTA San Andreas. For those who dont know in GTA SA mission of OG loc madd dog rhymes at the back of the mansion you'll find a bike & some kind of sliding way out. That is not originally for bike it was originally for skateboard you can even see parks with stunt boards. 5) GTA 4 removal of snow, & minigun. 6) GTA 5 removal of basketball, Katana, Vigilante missions, making Lamar a playable character at the end & pool.
3) If you mean the hobos in a tunnel behind the hospital (I think), those were no street gang, those were just homeless and they did nothing, because homeless people aren't masters of combat arts usually. 6) Replacing Franklin with Lamar at the end (that means the sandbox freeroam portion when the story is finished) would be pointless anyway. Yea, great gameplay as Lamar doing only generic stuff, stunts and whatnot. No mission, no cutscene showing his personality, nothing. Who would want that? Also since Lamar would replace Franklin in only one ending (where you choose to kill Franklin), which most people still wouldn't choose anyway, ... Like what point would there be to implement another "protagonist" for just a portion of game, that most people still wouldn't get anyway? The sandbox after you finish the story, and only if you choose to kill Franklin. So yea. Glad, that R* cut it out/changed it in the end to what we've got. Choosing to keep all 3 protagonists alive is still the best ending we could get.
Not the best feature but worth noting. Many people don’t know that when your car disappears it didn’t spawn away. It got impounded. The mission with Cesar explaining this got cut. However, if you go to get it you have to have CJ facing the direction of where the car would be as you walk down the ramp into the garage. This is because the impound garage works like the safehouse garages except it doesn’t have despawn protection. So having CJ facing that direction keeps the car from disappearing until it’s in the view of the camera where the player can see it. … and Cesar’s house was supposed to be a low rider mod garage too.
I always thought that lamar was annoying. I thank them for deciding to not adding him as a protagonist. We already have an annoying protagonist from the beginning (Trevor), why two?
That Shady Acres gave me so many funny moments, when I was in holiday I played this in GTA Vice City radio stations emotion and heard it, but i thought this could be a nice dream for me oh my god. Ending in GTA 5 was a mistake, because they was so dumb they didn't warned us the three endings A : Kill Trevor B : Kill Michael and C : Deathwish. I was so angry when I choosed kill Trevor and I thought Franklin would die in ending C but I started over and played again.

It's not as simple as shaking the camera and acting like "boo, it's earthquake, run!". Since that level of destruction doesn't exist in the game (the most we can see is a wall in the final mission), it's only logical, why R* didn't implement it in the end. Also what about gameplay? Would the damage persist since the quake happened until the end, or would it "reset"? And how to explain, if it reset? Like there was an earthquake a hour ago, but now, no signs of anything? Call it realism. Ha Ha. So yea, earthquakes would have been properly implemented, or not at all, we know which road R* had taken.

I hate Lamar, but compared to Franklin, which is an uncharismatic "courier" that moves here and there just obeying... that would have made much more sense for Lamar, more driven, to wipe out a weak Franklin
