WFTV news story: Michael Jackson was a frequent client of an Orlando hair salon. The owner would sneak him in late at night when he came to town to visit Disney. From www.wftv.com
I can see that this guy is very humble and that he isn’t about fame. He is talking to the interviewer like someone who will talk to their company that visiting their home, or like a uncle having a normal conversation over dinner. I’m so glad that they treated Michael Jackson with open arms, giving him that privacy, like a normal human. It wasn’t about him being a super star, he was able to respect Michael Jackson wishes and privacy. 😇 Oh and I remember the TVs from the 80s, so glad this guy still has it. 😇
Awww, this is so precious to know he was treated no different than anyone else. Michael I think enjoyed that the most and it was good for him to be out of the limelight for once. I'm so glad he found that here in this quaint salon. Thanks for posing this piece of history in his life. All good and happy memories, we need more of these:)
Historical years. Thanks for sharing. It's been so long ago, Iwe were around 16, 17, sat in one of those chairs at Rudy's & Plinnies for a hairstyle that was trending. Wasn't aware that the King of Entertainment was a customer. I may have sat in his chair. Later in years my husband mentioned this fact to me how MJJ entered thu the back. They'd once met up with the Jacksons, my husband's family band, at the R Plaza (Royal Plaza) Lake Buena Vista where he and Jermaine played pool table. 🎱 Michael was happily running or pacing back and forth, up and down the halls of the R hotel. It was a pleasant day. Comfortable from lengthy travels. Rudy's Plinnies shop was my bible study spiritual sisters dads shop located at OBT/Gore. Braid Extentions styled there at in my mid teens.

now I need to know why he cut his hair in 1995
He burnt a piece of his hair with a flat iron and he had to get it cut
@@ameeraazeem6978 i thought it was just for a new look
@@ss.fx3626 me too
$65 for a jheri curl? SMH It's cheaper to just perm it, lol
is that jheri curl flammable? remember when his hair was on fire was it because of the jhri curl?
No. Back in the 80s there were no gel or anything. People would use oil or Vaseline
@@aaronbautista3632 MJ used something called sebastian gel every other day
