I have found the setting everyone(including myself) is missing in Plater!!
Under Advanced tab, go to general settings, click 'Show healthbars on not attackable units'
    You're welcome.

Hi clbcreations, please try using the default UI command to toggle friendly nameplates "Shift+V". If that still doesn't help you, Tircyn had posted a solution that worked for them in the comments, which I will requote for you here:
"I had the same issue until under 'Friendly NPC' tab I changed one setting (copied everything else in the video).
Friendly NPC tab, left side under 'General Settings' you see Enabled (checked), Module Enabled (checked), Follow Blizzard 'NPC Names' Option (unchecked), Show (drop down bar) ---> CHANGE that to All Npcs (Healthbars)
After doing that every NPC I came across had a healthbar show up, including the quest giver and npcs I had to heal. Hope this helps."

Hi Jepp, make sure you have the nameplates turned on as shown at 0:59. This is the only setting I can think that you might have missed. The other settings are for the plates customization itself, and don't have much to do with whether they are showing or not. Let me know

@@Lucky2Leaf I have the same issue, spent an hour changing every setting I could think of and I can not get the HP bars to appear over their heads just you have in your video.

@@myMikeable Interesting, those are the only settings that I adjusted. However, you might be able to simply "Shift+V" which is Blizzard's default UI command to show friendly nameplates.
