Great game. I'm happy to see my Lions win, but the Elks deserve to be better than 0-4 this season. They have played some good football. Hopefully they can turn it around.
Lions fan too, and I agree. Elks have been competitive and I’ve always liked MBT, he played well in the USFL last year and I was excited to see him back in the CFL. I hope for the fans sake they get some well deserved wins soon.

When Elks will play on week 6 at home, they will need ALL THE SUPPORT... and all they need to think about is DISCIPLINE. Unnecessary penalties are not doing great for Elks.
It's getting more and more frustrating to see Elks finding new ways to lose the game this season. First it were interceptions, then it were stupid penalties... what else? Fumbles? Missed walf-off field goals? PS. I won't even talk about singles... I'm pretty sure that loss against Roughriders on the walk-off single was very painful.

VA is always hurt stop taking so many hits. Also Covington sucks 1 sack come on man be better. Menard,sayles are missed badly. Rene needs to be full time LB. Also Stanback and run game are still bad even tho Will is 2nd in rushing somehow 0 TDs. Cutting Travis made no sense. BRing Lucky back
I don't think that he's fully responsible for players losing control and making stupid penalties. Jones is doing fine... team lost three games by just 3 points. But yeah, Elks need to win.

To be honest... both defensive sides looked fine to me. You're overreacting. Elks was able to stop Lions multiple times when it seemed that Lions were establishing themselves as the dominante force.
The new “thugs” of the league are where they are for two reasons: refs helping when they need it and thats because they are being ‘guided’ to their home game in the Grey Cup…imo

Elks problem is the defensive coaches top to bottom period fire them all --you can't man on the best players at all at all that is why they struggle dumbass defensive calls
Didn't see much bad calls... Lions have the best offensive team in the league and Elks didn't let them do much to be honest. VA had a lot of overthrown passes, DBs were able to stop some of the more risky passing plays with no penalties.

Yes. After the ball is fumbled, the last player who touched the ball before it goes out bounds gets possession for his team.
If someone fumbles it who ever touched it last before it goes out of bounds gets possession

Same thing happened in Toronto to the Elks - Edmonton is getting better, I have no doubt they are going to be a very good team as the year progresses.
