As a new Boca Bearings customer I wanted to say that I tested them out in my Tatuta Elite 100HS reel the past two days and they are an incredible upgrade!!! Don't oil them and be amazed at the ease and distance of your casts!!! I installed your ABEC 7 orange seal bearings.
does the pinion gear spin while in freespool and during casting too? or does it only spin when reeling in? and if i used SS bearings should the pinion bearing be oiled or lightly greased?
if I pay you to do mine...pay for shipping and return. would you do it. I have 6 daiwa reels..lol not handy like that. so want to up grade but see you had a couple fumbles ...me...I would be in hell for hours
Kerry I am not 100% positive if they are the same or not. You can always send the bearings to the office and I will size them here. Send me an email to jeff@bocabearings.com and I can forward a bearing size chart for your reference.

my biggest problem has always been a loose nut behind the reel ! Boca Bearings is a great co. to deal with
Good job....Size bearing sr ?
you should add the worm gear bearings in your kit too.. stock they are just plastic spacers

I just bought a Daiwa AIRD 100HS, is the replacement of the bearing on it the same as the Tatula?
why do you take off the seal from the new bearing?
what size boca's are in recommended for this tatula
And Paul miller I put bocas in my shimano chronarch and my curado and they make a huge difference
I have put in 3 sets in all of my Tatula R-series and in my Chronarch--very pleased.
Do you have to use oil?
All that for spool bearing upgrade?
why do you remove the shields?
This video should show you the 2 ways depending on if it's a removable or non-removable metal shield. th-cam.com/video/K8wYATj-UlE/w-d-xo.html
Good job brother...

go on boca bearings website and shop by reel model. i think it is the 267 tho....
Okay thanks man
Could you take your type r somewhere to get them put it instead of doing it yourself
my reel says it has 7 ball bearings but in the schematic only shows 5?
Thanks that clears up my dilemma, appreciate your help
