Joel change the filter to less micron filter or even a stock m3 filter from the m3 …that filter is stupid fuel should not need so much filtration

your build is super inspirational for getting my lazy ass working on my e30. sometimes I fall asleep to these videos and dream my car will sound like this one day.
you can see the filter cartridge has ballooned from being blocked. i know you can clean those stainless filters, but id personally replace it after the abuse that ones been through.

Awesome build. Crazy amount of power for such a light car. I havent watched all of this build, but I hope he has some serious suspension upgrades or he might be wrapped around a tree pretty quick.
For the filter, for redundancy, you Y from the surge tank, to 2 fuel filters, then Y back to 1 line. Incase one catches some debris, you have a 2nd filter to keep flow. Plus, you could clean them less often if each is only working half as hard
But also, more points of failure/ more opportunities for leaks. But an option yunno

@ImJoel you should get a Funk Motorsport turbo blanket! I think it would look really good in the bay with the heat wrapped down pipe and would also keep heat down in the bay as well obviously🤝

Genuine question but when the fuel filter was first pulled, it looked clean to me. I don't have a trained eye, what do you need to look for to tell if its dirty? To me it looked the exact same after the brake clean

i think you just need tan interior, and a full paint job. black is just terrible for any vehicle come summer, maybe try some covers, its a massive difference
and since its all low volt, just find some 12v fans that you can clip and have blow on you , can have a few
Black interior would absorb heat. Alot of car manufacturers are switching to black interiors just for this
