Cape York in a caravan part 2 - Archer River/Weipa/Bramwell Station

In part 2 of our Cape York adventure we leave Archer River to make our way to the coastal town of Weipa.
We set up at the campground and enjoy a sunset over the water.
We explore the town and take the dogs for a much needed off-lead run at the dog park.
We leave Weipa and take the Batavia Downs road as a shortcut back to the PDR, before making our way to Bramwell Station Tourist Park to get ready for the OTT.

Wow, when we went to Weipa in 2017 it was the worst road of the whole Cape York trip and I said I would never travel it again 😂😂! They were doing roadworks at the time so maybe I’ll go one more time 😁😉 A tip we heard for dust was to use contact (like you use on school books) Just stick it over the inside of the vent so the dust sticks to it and then rip it off and do it again. Worth a try 😉

There was some rough spots on that road but lots of roadworks so they must be trying.
Yeh the laminex, thats what we had but didnt end up trying it. Got lazy with the dust to be honest, just wiped it all each time

Yeh was a bit stressful, not sure i would take a van again.
We did enjoy ourselves, had fun on the OTT, fruitbat and elliot all make it worth it

We use the ARB EZ deflater and the ARB portable high output compressor. You will see me use that at the end of the cape york series

Yeh i was so dissapointed. They replaced it for free though as it wasnt anything i had done, just took me a while to get it back
