They only played one night at the Pepsi Center. Between songs 14 (S!CK) and 15 (MORE) (out of 23 total) there was an intermission where they changed outfits. During the intermission their 7 minute "X Anniversary" video was played. "Survive" is a fan favorite. It’s from their debut album "XXI Century Blood," released in 2017 when Dany, Pau, and Ale were 17, 15, and 12. It became a fan favorite after their second TEDx Talk performance, “You’ve Been Warned!” in 2017. The band always has so much fun performing it, with choreographed moves like Dany and Ale swinging their guitars in sync while Pau sings and Pau and Ale doing synchronized head tilts when Dany sings. The jam session at the end of the song is so great and quite a highlight. "Animosity" is a song about holding strong resentment toward someone who hurt you and how that emotional weight can deeply affect you. Written from Pau's personal experience, the lyrics explore the aftermath of betrayal, focusing on themes of anger, guilt, and the difficulty of letting go. The line "mayday, mayday, this ship is going down" represents the crumbling of a relationship or friendship, symbolizing the feeling of being overwhelmed by unresolved emotions. The song captures the internal struggle of dealing with hurt and the challenge of moving on while still holding onto that resentment.
awesome breakdown of the songs.. as usual thontor!!.. and the intermission outfit change makes sense.. I figured that was probably the case.. thank you again!!
Survive was a concert encore song for several years. Written early in the bands career, they gave 12yr old Ale the responsibility of ending the song, all by herself.
In my opinion, these two songs are the essence of The Warning ! Survive is in my top three, and animosity is probably in my top 6 or 7... It's hard to say, it's so hard to pick favorites !
Pau wrote Animosity as a response to her friends who ostracised her for devoting time to the band when she was growing up. So playing this in your home town after 10 years as a band, I wonder how many were in the audience eating their words. Animosity is Ale's signature performancce i.m.o. Not the most technical song for her, but where she comes out of her shell.
Over 2 hour concert where they did an intermission and clothing change. Survive is from XXIst Century Blood, their first album when they were still kids. That's a song written when the oldest was 14. Animosity is one of my favorites, and Webtoons did the OMV as part of the comic series Grim Reaper (which is an awesome series). Lots of strange twists and turns with this band. ❤️⚡🤘
If you're learning Evolve, the riff is in 7/8, so it's a 1/4 note "short". Count to 7 and you'll resolve on the 1. They (DPA) have videos on this one 😉

Survive was their concert finale for years when they first started playing. It's from their first album released when they were 17, 15 and 12.
Animosity is a great example of a perfect song. Survive will always be a fan favorite.

What a concert ! Quite a variety of songs and flows very well. Animosity used to be my favorite, but based on this concert, it is now "Z". 🤟🎸🥁🎸🤟
