Nicely done. It's got to be the plaid shirt. I have the same one so I guess I'll have to make sure I'm wearing mine. I hope the poplar turns out to be decent lumber for you and doesn't twist, Crack, bend, warp, and all the things poplar does when it's turned into anything other than paper.

@@CentralMaineOutdoorsman I have been trying to get my driveway established. I spent the last few days getting the mud scrapped up. It's all ledge 3 inches below the mud so it cleans up nice. I've cut some trees but haven't used the winch yet because I don't want to drag them through the mud. Lol. It definitely doesn't look new anymore that's for sure.
Thanks for the advice…..This tractor has met its match and cannot lift this log high enough to lift off the ground. With the winch weighing about 400lbs and the log around 2000lbs with the lift capacity of 1600lbs the 3 point hitch will just not do it. It’s no skidder but gets the job done! Thanks for watching
WOW thats a lot of weight. We shortened the top link some , the winch tips in more as it comes up which might help. Every inch makes a difference.@@CentralMaineOutdoorsman
The snatch block was made by Wallenstein , it was included when I purchased the winch. I would check the website!(probably can order) or check local tractor/equipment dealers may have them in stock. It definitely is a solid setup!

@@MrBrewner the mud is definitely slowing things down, struggle is real. Looking forward to using my mill but very soft around it.
If you adjust your winch on the 3 point it will lift higher, it is dragging on the ground and not lifting the log at all.
