Since your over in Coff's, should make your way down to the Billabong wild life park, situated between Wauchope & Port Macquarie.

I understand that this is the one place in Australia 🇦🇺 that milks the Funnel Web Spider 🕷.

Thanks for the tour Nick, pity about the crazy weather...when I was a kid I was privileged enough to meet the great man who started it all there, Eric Warrell himself! Lovely man, and I'm glad his legacy lives on! 👍👍

When I was a teen I volunteered at the "old' reptile park.....when Eric Worrell was still alive.....and Eric the Croc was still around. I had to help clean his enclosure one day and was half way across a scrawny plank of wood when the boys mentioned that Eric would sometimes snap at you.
I also remember one day in winter when the boys had to catch a croc out of the big pond, they were all waist deep when one of them said to the other 'he's coming your way', the other reptile keeper in a high pitched squeaky voice quietly mentioned back 'yeah I know, he's between my legs'. Some of the best memories of my teen years was volunteering at the Reptile Park.
Ps got bitten by one of the baby crocs (was about 1m) when I stupidly put him on the ground while I feed the smaller ones......they have very very very sharp teeth

Eric Worrell’s reptile park. Many school excursion to Sommersby and Wyong before that. A good day was the reptile park in the morning and then next door to old sydney town in the afternoon.

That was really cool, Nick! Thank you so much for showing the koalas! You really made my day. Did you see Elvis the crocodile? He's crazy! How about Atomic Betty, the python? Some of those diamond pythons are HUGE! I love quokkas; they're so cute! They call them the happiest animal on earth! It was great to see the kangaroos and wallabies. That dingo was beautiful. I think they just recently had some dingo pups. ARP is definitely on my list of places to see when I come to Australia. Are there any parks in VIC that you would recommend? Did you get to see Elsa the koala, and her son Olaf? Elsa is so adorable! They had to handraise Elsa because her mum, Irene, had mastitis. That is extremely painful! Did you get to see Tim Faulkner? Or maybe he was up at Aussie Ark. Tim's koala videos helped keep me sane during COVID. I had COVID back in November. Felt like I had a bad case of bronchitis.
Thanks again for showing off ARP. You're an awesome tour guide!💖💖💖💖💖💖🐨

You're a good man, thanks for your good work...
I'm a Pom in paradise and I've been working as a sole trader gardener on the Mid North Coast for the last 14 yrs. and I have big respect for the local bad asses ;)
I can't eat dairy products or mammalian meat any more after a tick bit about 8 yrs ago which stinks socially; also my leg blew up like a balloon from a snake dry bite from who knows what about ten years ago I didn't even feel it strike me, the Dr showed me the puncture marks and advised me to find a different profession! But it happened and I have no hard feelings to the sods that bit me, I nowadays wear snake guards in high risk areas i.e. around ponds etc. and I'm glad to say I don't know if they've ever worked, LOL... ;)
I truly have respect for all the venomous creatures and other nippers locally however close they get to me, "OK that's too bloody close mate ;)" and I try and institute this into my customers, mostly city folk gone bush who think all nature will be as serene as a double shot L'arte.
The local bad ass beautiful creatures have been here for countless millennia and have many more rights to this land than us and it is so very sad to witness the dramatic demise in the population of these wonderful creatures in the past decade; this often makes me truly embarrassed to be a human nowadays...

That’s actually on purpose the clips with me and the Komodo are out of the video I’ll be putting out soon on 10 things you didn’t know about Komodo dragons
So what I’m saying doesn’t actually make any sence as a 3-4 second clip
Make sure you keep your eye out for the Komodo video in a week or two!

Do they still have a Noctarium? It was great to see nocturnal animals active during the day in darkened cages.

the skink at the start you mentioned eating vegetation which surprised me, i thought all lizards are carnivores! are they herbivores or omnivores?

hey nick ! ive just got my venomous snake catch handle release cert on the central coast and am currently volunteering with a wildlife rescue group relocating snakes. i am loving it ! wondering how viable seeking a career in catching would be, if snake catchers usually outsource or have employee catchers due to inconsistent nature of work. would my experience land me a job at a park somewhere ?
very keen to learn all there is to know and become a knowledgeable catcher

Hey wanted to ask, do you know if you'll get the chance to head over SA to dingos?
