i love this game, even in sandbox mode, it feels like the real simulation cities skylines could not deliver on :p like in the olden Settlers games, every item has to go to its proper location to get processed, every resource managed... don't regret buying this in EA state, already so much content

with taxes, you can set a specific amount. doesn't have to be 10, 20, 30 etc. I usually do like 4 or 5% to keep approval :)

To prevent what happened in Waldbrand, you can upgrade the homeless camp for one timber to a worker's camp - which IIRC, has some token pantry space for exactly this! 26:29

He can't. That counts as housing and lets all their other needs start tanking his approval. It's actually *more* likely to cost him families then the momentary starvation.

@@LordSaric yeah on max diff you need fuel, 1 type of food and 1 type of clothing before you build but 1 month is enought to setup the buildings and 1 month even 2 month of homeless is not a big deal........ on normal diff this is not a prob upgrade the homeless camp asap and build 1 home and get pop growth from the first month

3:40 I have WAAAAY over 40 tabs open... it does not slow anything... that is bullcrap. Unless you have some weird browser.
And that worked same way on my old 13yo PC or now on the better one... tabs never slowed anything.. takes a bit out of memory, but does not slow anything if you have memory.. and 16 was always enough...

import clocks are cheep :) you dont need a cobler you spare 2 families and add them to soldiers :) forester dont work in winter btw for about influence let baron claim land and fight for that land with mercenary if you dont hire them , baron will :P and you spare 1k influence :) for new camp you need granary storehouse cuz you get resurces on the grund first and dont need houses until you have all the resurces for the church amd 5 leather cuz they dont demand them until they have houses
