Kenny nice to hear from you. You mentioned you would be gone for a while. I’ll have to check where you went. I can’t believe where the summer has gone. You take care. Thanks for watching.
Hi Mr .Tom. You really don’t know until you try to get something done and it’s not there. Unfortunately my case has been out of commission for over a week. I’m told from the shop I definitely have a bad piston. They are backed up and can’t get at it right away. No one will take it in on trade unless it’s running. So sit and wait. Lots of money for new stuff. Making firewood won’t ever pay for something like that. I do need a machine for snow removal. Way cheaper to hire someone for snow removal. Just bummed out. Hope your build is moving along close to the schedule. Take care buddy.
@@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood awe man that’s a hard one to swallow 😔. That’s the downfall of Equipment when it breaks it’s normally pretty expensive were fortunate enough to be out making money with it as well to subsidize some of the cost of breakdowns and payments but the famous saying is you can’t take it with you and the people you leave it to will blow it anyways 🤣. Good luck, buddy. Hope it’s not too hard on the pocketbook.
Tony thanks for stopping in to watch. Cooler weather will be here. I still can’t figure out how fast this summer has gotten away. I love the trailer you purchased from Thumb Trailer. I need to reach out to the guys and see what we can do. I doubt that I have much more or less than 3000 miles. The feature to be able to load my skid loader without the hassle of ramps is a wonderful benefit. I don’t do well lifting heavy objects. Later
@@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood Allen without a doubt the combo gate on the N & N trailer is an unbelievable feature allowing loading equipment easy and safe. I’d give Brad Bays at Thumb a call to see what he could do for you.. Good Luck. 👍TCT
Good one Al and Tyler 👍🏻👍🏻 Nice to have machines to help with the work, no matter what machine it is. 👍🏻 Nice pile of logs. But poplar is least favourite tree, still burns thou. Have a great day Al. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Hi Noel. Thanks for stopping in to watch. Poplar isn’t no super wood but neither is balsam. They are the most abundant trees by us. We do have some maple , oak ,birch. My guess is80-85 percent is poplar and balsam. 15 -20 the rest. We do have pine and fir too and some ironwood.
Nice Al. No iron wood here that I know of. I’m surly not a wood expert in my area as to what grows here. But, I like doing wood no matter what it is. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Hey Larry. Well I got older since you stopped in and forgot that leaning trees don’t need big notches. Everyone was safe and tree is on the ground. Take care .
Thanks for watching . Learn something every day. You never know it all. I probably wouldn’t be cutting and splitting without the assistance of my equipment. Have a great day.
Good morning Al and Tyler. Nice work in the woods. Nothing me aggravating than deer flies. We'll maybe horse flies haha.

I was just thinking today how grateful I am to have a skid loader. They are a true lifesaver. 👍

Thanks for stopping in to watch the video. I’m getting a heck of an inventory of popple. Have a great day Todd.
Evening Al , are we a little rusty on falling trees, I should not talk, it’s probably been 6 months for me of felling a tree
Good video
