      Hi Noel. Thanks for watching and commenting. I’ll keep learning, but you know it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks Noel

      Hi Mr. Del. Thanks for watching and commenting. Definitely can run through a pile of logs pretty fast. I’m still counting on that beer at Hoosier 2025 buddy. I still have to cut up the big guys over 18 inches. I really appreciate your support. We got 1-2 inches of snow last night. Did a little splitting today. Forgot how everything is wet and cold. Great to hear from you. Take care my friend.

      @ Yes sir on that beer at the HFH 2025 . Snow already , wow . We have been very warm here but tonight we will be in the 30’s . Have a great rest of your week my good friend . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🔥

      To get to 500 subs. Over the summer, we probably only got 2-3 videos a month. For myself most channels that I had subscribed to no longer show up with new videos. It shows that I’m still subscribed. I’m just going to resubscribe to a lot of channels. I like the brute force so far. I’m not sure if most guys think it makes sense for me to resplit the wood with the 17vs-c. It saves my back from wrestling those rounds and cutting them too. Like you do, you keep trying things until you get close to perfection.

      Hi Kenny . Thanks for watching and commenting. Such kind words, maybe a little strong on the expert. That’s almost like I always tell Chris that I am a legend in my own mind. Ha ha. I think that processor will really make my back happy. I still have to cut logs 17 inch plus with my saws. I still need to fix my Case. I’m trying to get all the important skid loader work done by next Wednesday. The the Case will get the motor pulled and tore down to determine the problem. If it’s all messed up we’ll order a new motor. At least we now have a plan. Take care and good to hear from you.

      Thanks Ted. You are correct, watch every move and no day dreaming. When things move they move fast. I have a lot to learn, but you can blast through a lot of wood fast. I like it so far. Not much for bells and whistles. I like simple and straight forward. I kinda got lost with computer run things. It’s hard to teach old dogs new tricks. You know what I mean. Thanks for following our channel and commenting.

      Thanks Russ for stopping in and commenting. I think it will help me cut time in half or less. I still have to handle the logs over 18 inch. I’m not a young man any more. Probably not to far from Gramps. My brain seems to think I’m in my twenties it’s the rest of my body that don’t care to follow.

    Those are nice machines, push plate could stand to be a bit larger.

    • @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood
      @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You are absolutely correct. It seems anything larger than 12 inches or so, the round has a tendency for the upper half to roll back. A larger and higher push plate would be very helpful. Thank you for watching and commenting. Please stop by again.

      @@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood On the larger rounds I'd drop the wedge as low as it will go, if it peels over the top then resplit it. It's six in one hand half dozen in the other when you have to keep fishing those pieces out of the top of the wedge anyway. The wedge is larger than the push plate so gotta find the middle ground on it.

    • @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood
      @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mike, it’s been a very busy summer and didn’t have time to get much out for videos. The processor was purchased at the Northstar

    • @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood

      Expo in Grand Rapids Minnesota in September. I have finally got some other projects to were I can fit some wood processing in the schedule. We’re finally started moving wood out.. this fall. So far about 22 full cords . Can’t get the price everyone gets but got to start somewhere. Today I sold a tote of birch and got 80.00. I know you guys get way more than that, but it’s harder up hear. These people were so happy to get truly dry firewood. They order from 2 different sources and told me it wouldn’t start well, it smoked like crazy and sap ran out of the ends. I set them up well 12.5 -15 percent all small splits of birch. They called back and want 2-3 full cords more for the winter. They couldn’t believe how nice it burns. Anyway the processor will really work well with the 17vs-c. Usually fill the live deck process that, fill my holding table with that. Split the wood on the Wolfe Ridge usually end up with a tote full. So many things to keep improving. I need to figure out how to get the wood stacked after I split it, not while I split it. To many hours go on these machines just putting hours non production hours don’t make sense. I still will need to cut all the logs over 17 inch with a chainsaw. I struggle wrestling those big rounds so I have a 324 coming from Jeff not Jerry from Eastonmade. I said a lot. I am excited with my new toys and wood sales. What’s next maybe a kiln. Everyone needs dreams, but still know your financial limits. I just seen your video with your new axis. I hardly ever run my 17vs-c more than 24-2600 rpm. Gas consumption stays at around .5-.7gphr. When you run at 3600rpm gas consumption goes up to1.5-1.7 gpm hour. More than double. Later I’m rambling. Take care buddy. Sometime I could use some advise on our subscriber numbers.

      @@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood you have been busy! You got $80 for an IBC tote full? That's not a horrible price. Start getting known as the guy with dry wood that will burn and you can probably raise it a little. You've been spending some money too!! That's awesome! Looking great too! You must have been training with Tyson. We'll talk soon. Not sure I have any earth shattering secrets to tell you?? I'll text you a video that pretty good about analytics.

    Al thats looks like an awfully fun machine to run. Did you get the skid loader fixed or is that a different unit too?

    • @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood
      @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Brian,I like the machine so far. When you can get the right size logs 9-14 inch you can pump wood out the conveyor can hardly keep up. I have put like 57 hours on the Case. We plan to get the motor pulled this week. I’m hoping it might be simpler than we thought. If not a new motor goes in. I hope it goes well. Like everything it takes practice to get used to the controls. I’m used to the maintanence stuff. Surprised that I have had to tighten the trough feed chain, and 2 drive chains that really don’t travel that much. It’s possible who ever set the processor up just didn’t tighten the chains up. I know new chains stretch-a lot at first. I bought the Brute force at the Northstar Expo in Grand Rapids, Minnesota in Sept. Thanks for watching

    • @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood
      @clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ I did a video today. Not out yet. Ran the last of my logs today. Tomorrow or Wednesday the Case goes in for surgery. We decided to open the motor up to determine the problem. If things don’t or can’t be fixed within reason., new motor goes in. I’m hoping we may be able to fix the old motor. I have put 57 hours on this motor and noticed once started you hear the 4th cylinder kick in the motor rpm stabilize and it seems to run fine. We know it burns oil. I kept a close eye on that. I didn’t push the motor hard at all. Sure glad I was able to use it up to now. I sure wish I had someone that could borrow a skidsteer from. I have close to 8 full cords I need to get delivered, and am not looking forward to throwing the wood on my trailer by hand. Thanks for watching and commenting.
