Poppy vase life experiment, How long will my poppy last after being cut

I’m newly obsessed with with Iceland poppies! I’ve gotten five days after dunking stems in boiling water I harvest at about the stage yours were in the experiment. Have heard of a lot of problems with cracked bud stage

Those Scottish poppies are so cool

They are straight from Fraggle Rock, I love them. Don't last at all though.
