Thank you for uploading this. We grew up in Kensington and Rockville. When we were teenagers, the Metro put a rail line to Rockville, and we would go to DC and spend hours in this place. Especially during winter. We really like the contrast between the organic plants and the metal structure. It was like being in a spaceship. We'd usually go to the Air and Space Museum afterwards.
If we remember right, there was once an exhibit here of the giant stinky flower that smelled like rotting meat.
The Audubon Society was also a fun place for plants.

How long does it take to walk through the gardens?
If you do a nice easy walk without rushing, I’d say it takes about two hours.
