I bought these a month ago as my first fpv goggles. I wanted goggles that i could use without glasses or the need for diopters. My eyesight is -4 in both eyes with strong astigmatism and i have no problems seeing details on the screen (although i will say the adjustment doesn't seem to do much). I am very impressed with them, particularly for the price. I think a lot of youtubers are spoilt with their Fatsharks, Aomways and Skyzones. Its important to remember that a lot of people dont have the money, aren't racers and just want to go out and gave some fun flying. You and currykitten are some of the most down to earth RC youtubers out there. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the wonderful review. I have the eachine ev800d which I love. However, based on what I saw here I purchased the TOPSKY PRIME II. I have to say this is a fantastic goggle. It fits my face well, it acquires the frequency quickly and the image quality is incredible. I can't believe this piece of equipment can be bought for under $80. I highly recommend both goggles but I think my new favorite is the Topsky. It can't be beat as a ride along goggle same goes for the 800d. Cheers!
The Prime 2 did seam sharper and to be honest the brake up in comparison was not that bad. The swing is always going to be the price as you say you get what you pay for, the maintaining of the quality is the main thing as this will give customers a Russian Roulette thing with each purchase.
TH-cam's encoder dulls the sharpness of the fatshark DVR but when looking at the raw files the fatshark DVR recording is much sharper. And in the correct aspect ratio
WOW, that Prime II is great. I don't see much pink tiny artifacts that appears on the other goggles. Thank you for testing and sharing this video!
TBF Red goggles will make your quads faster. You'll have to use them for the speed runs.

I've been using these goggles for about a month now, I'm new to FPV so couldn't justify spending £££ of pounds on the nicer setups. Yes I've got a dead pixel and also managed to miss the SD card slot and loose a card inside the unit. I get around 2.5 to 3hrs use from a charge. Overall I'm happy with the value and the diversity seems to work fine. As a first pair of goggles I'd say go for it 😁

Goggles are gonna have to get bigger if you want better features. So I'd try and get use to that

hmm, i'm in the market for new goggles, my 800d's are a bit beat up and the screen has a few sorta yellowy burnouts, problem is i love them, they never failed to amaze me both in image quality and range with stock antenna's. i think i could handle a smaller screen but i dont think i could handle anything below 50deg, the ev800dm's might be my next goggle pending reviews, i really wanted topsky's to be great but without the resolution its not gonna happen. also, isnt 2.4inch the size of dji goggles, and wasn't that dji air module i seen? and do you have some 800d's you could tear apart to check the size of ribbon cable the screen uses, i saw a 5inch oled panel for 28 quid lol...

@@AndyRCchannel Well, we are looking at the signal the DVR recorded...not what you actually saw in the goggles, if you see what I mean...
@@EnglishTurbines yes but if you point a hd camera at an IMAX cinema screen you also don't see what you see with your eyes. So the DVR is the best way to show the performance as it records the same break up you see through the screen
@@AndyRCchannel Yes, of course, agreed..I have a really good Diversity Monitor, the view is spectacular...The orange Eachine DVR I use to record, not so good...Just saying.
I found them really bad in sun due to the thin plastic causing red light round the lens

Ik have the prime 1 version. Ik al very happy with Them and works right out the box.there are nu first goggels .i have to say the view is not that great but good for the money.the dvr is great .the antenne you have to upgrade so i have done that and its a must.
I purchased the prime one and the diopter didn't work
so I watched you video how to take it apart and
the gear for the diopter is missing I emailed them
many times and received no reply so I won't be buying
anything from them.

Is this headset 4.3, 16.9 ratios, or both? I have this headset, already, I'm trying to get a fpv camera, for it now. And too, how can I get the charging thing, for this, for that I can charge it at my, rc flying field?

Hi Andy. My prime 1S has 480x320 (counted) and three month ago topsky specs 480x320 (2x) for the Prime 1S on there homepage.
My Prime 1S was not worth the money i spend. LCD lines are corrupt and the resolution is too bad. But I got a replacement board to fix the issue with the not working left receiver!
For a pair of goggles that cost 1/2 RapidFire module its good enough
I am still a huge fan of my Aomway Commander V1 Diversity 3D FPV Goggles and even my very old now Headplay googles..
My nearsightedness led me away from the boxed style googles as my vision prescription requires bi focal adjustments and even those Goggles that allow glasses to be worn are of no use to people with bi focal needs..
Go with a high quality set of Aomway's or Skyzones or even the pricey Fat Sharks. You can use the reading glasses and use the Box style but swapping out all those different lenses gets cumbersome to me..
Even better just get a decent 8 inch diversity clip-on your TX monitor and have the best of both worlds.. LOS and FPV and no eye strain..
Which is best "fatshark recon v3", "topsky prime 2", "ev800d". I can not choose. There is no data comparing the three. I have little Presbyopia.

I won't be doing that one due to time constraints although I think kababfpv did a video on it.
you do get a lot of light leak because of the thin red plastic. I got a bad pair. the auto scan did not work and the screen was way to dark to see. I turn up the brightness to 100 and still could not see well. I an very disappointed. Very bad experience.
I need a really good pair of box goggles. Whats do you think are best??

Fatshark have said I'm not on the list. They have never sent me a product for review so I'd say look for uavfutures or painless360. It could be some time though. rapid 1 go watch the aomway v1s or sky02x video to see it performing better than this.

@@peterzingler6221 Why? I've been using EV100 for a year now with no issues. Beats any box goggles I tried. But I can't compare them to the Prime II as I've never tried them.
