    Taekwondo Sparring Combination Kick
    This video was recorded when I was 44 years old. Please do not compare to young athlete the kicking speed like. I was also way faster than this video when I was 20s.

      41 years old is so young age. It's time to fly in the air. Weight training is so important for prevention from injuries. Keep it up please.

    As a 40 year old training in TKD, you encourage me. Working all day on my own business and then still to find the strength to go for practise 3 times per week is my straggle with my body. But I each kick I am doing, feels like I am 15 years old. Hope I will be worthy for my 3rd Dan.

    I started taekwondo when I was 9 years old. After my last official competition, 20 years ago, I had to stop to pursue my scientific career. Today, at 42, I'm back to training. Taekwondo is more than a passion to me. I've been steadily improving and recovering my strength and technique and it feels amazing. This video is inspiring. Thanks.

    I'm a 22 year old on the way to getting my 4th Dan in about a year or so. I hope I can be this proficient in the art when I'm in my 40s. Excellent job Sabeomnim!

    WOW you are really good, I'm 52 years old now, when I was 23 years old I was training for my black belt in WTF TKD but then I got married had kids and then went through a horrible divorce. And I have not practiced since. But even though I am much older now I really want to start TKD again at my age I know I will never compete at a high level but I would love to practice the forms and do the best I can to be a martial artist.

      Hi Daniel, Thank you for your comment. I am now 53 years old. We're similar age now. At our age, practice for fun and making healthy body condition. I strongly recommend you to practice TKD with weight lifting to protect your joints. Please come by my channel from time to time to get motivations. I always am training martial arts and other sports.Let's keep in touch and good luck to your workouts.

    Amazing skills from the master thats what i like from TKD it keeps you young. For many people at that age its game over but for a martial artist its like to be in their twentys...!!!

    Wow really beautiful💕✨.. I hope I can be as good as you , I started Taekwondo training with good flexibility and I thought it’s going to be easy since I am flexible but the jump kicks are really hard and keeping myself balanced without falling is hard too .. really my 360 jump isn’t good at all I am disappointed at myself🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @tjmartialarts
      @tjmartialarts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Elios, Thank you for your comment. Balance is the combination of flexibility and muscle power. You already have good flexibility. Just need to train for muscle strength with weight training, jump and spin like figure skater. I will upload useful video how to kick well jump spin hook kick as soon as possible. Please don't get disappointed at yourself. You can do it. but it need lots of practice with the long term plan. Rome was not built in a day. Good luck to your training.

    I've been doing tkd for about 2 years, and started to get really obsessed with old school tkd. What are some drills one could do at home to learn that style more?

    I’m 66 with 2 lower back fusions, both knees replaced and, most recently, left hip replacement. My balance is such that I have trouble with walking stance in forms, stumbling off balance. I’ve trained 44 years in TKD, 8th Dan. Do you think I can ever regain balance? I’m training 3-4 days a week, but am frustrated. Any thoughts, sir?

    • @tjmartialarts
      @tjmartialarts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Very sorry for late reply.
      Actually balance require flexibility and muscle strength.
      But to do forms practice, make stance and endure for minutes. That way will help your forms,Sir.

    I'm sorry, you either lost it or need more practice. Just have your students do it. Might look better. The guy holding the paddle doesn't really know how to hold the paddle.

      I am very sorry too. This video was made 9 years ago. I had to train and fight for getting a green card in those day. I can't go back to the past. I am 53 years old dad having 23, 24 years old son. I don't have any reason to compete now. and also there are many different styles to hold pad. My student holding pad was just fit to my feet. He was a perfect pad holder and sparring partner for me.As I have taught him, that is my way. Sorry I don't know how to hold pad well except my way.
      I would love to learn the correct your holding pad way if I can have a chance. That will be awesome.
      If I were 20 years old, I would practice really more and harder to make faster.
      Thank you for leaving your comment.
      학생 시합뛰는 것 세컨하는 모습 봤어요. 언제 한 번 시합장에서 만나면 인사드릴께요. 미트 잡는 것 잘 가르켜주세요.

      @@tjmartialarts My apologies, I saw you as someone in their mid 20's. If you were 44 yrs old at the time, that's actually really good and to still move like that at 44, you are very healthy and still got it lol good luck to your school and students!
      대단하십니다, 현재 53세이시면 저때가 44세였다는 말씀인데 죄송하네요. 정말 20대 중반쯤으로 봤어요. 굉장히 건강하시고 동완이시네요. 패드 잡는걸 언제 비디오를 찍어서 올리는게 더 빨을수도.. 학생분이 발을 맞출줄 몰르네요.
