When I saw "Patrick Starr Sells Out", I did not read that as a product sold out. I read that as Patrick Starr did something that would make people mad.
I work as a manager in a retail business, and these days it's common place to sign a Social Media Policy that means you can't say negative stuff about the business, and in some cases even positive postings must be cleared by the marketing team. I don't post about my workplace at all. It's easier that way.

The Olaplex lawsuit is sort of silly. If you’re a serial hair dyer, the hair damage can cause hair breakage and loss. Olaplex may help but you won’t have virgin hair again.
With "specialized" products like Oleplex that have gotten really popular, it could be that people were using it who didn't need it. That's why you should really know your hair type and it's needs based on what you do to it and the climate you live in. If you already have healthy hair the structure of the hair shaft can become oversaturated with either protien or moisture and it can damage the hair that way. Basically if you're low in moisture but not protien and use a really intense protien mask, it'll overload the hair with protien and potentially damage it. Same with moisture. There's also a difference between dry hair and just being dehydrated. Products like that aren't meant for healthy hair shouldn't be used on healthy hair and even when used on the hair intended for, shouldn't be used more that once *maybe* twice a month. Ideally you'd only use it of your bleaching or dyeing your hair. Otherwise, sure, heat styling can damage your hair as well, lots of manipulation can damage your hair, certain illnesses can damage hair. That's kind of what I also wonder about these hair loss claims. A lot of people lost hair during the pandemic fro. Getting sick with miss Rona. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these hair loss complaints can about during that time, or if it was a similar situation to Diva Curl (if you know, you know). But generally speaking too much on anything can damage your hair, and Oleplex becoming popular and advertised differently than it's original intended use can be a huge problem.
@@frumthegroundyeah I bleached my hair then dyed it so I used olaplex for a while, but id only use it once a month and it did make my hair feel so smooth, but its not something that I need now that the bleached parts are grown out and about to be chopped off🙌 I did like olaplex but it's just not something everyone needs, and I feel like people just think everyone can use everything when that's not true.
Olaplex isn't even that good tbh 😂 I dye my hair a lot and honestly Garnier honey works way better repairing my hair than olaplex ever did. And cheaper too
@@woadxqueen666your main issue was probably moisture loss vs protein then! People were having the issues they were having because they misused the products and the hair was becoming over saturated with protein. I love a lot of Garnier products, the triple moisture and the sleek lines are great, *also* the Shea Moisture manuka honey mask is great.

I agree, same for a lot of makeup with wands /doefoot apps, like concealers that you use near your eyes. Stores also don't keep tester wands /applicators near the products so even those willing to be hygienic have to hunt for them.
I can't believe the ex-Sephora employee used a mascara tester on her own eyes! I remember a very good friend of mine walked into a cosmetics store and finished her eye makeup there with either an eyeliner or mascara tester and I was horrified! And it's about 15 years later and I have never forgotten it! I was second-hand traumatised by this. I can barely believe an employee would do this when they see first-hand how unhygienic these things are. Just uggggh!
What bugs me about the FDA is behind they are in approving sunscreen ingredients. My favorite Australian sunscreen Ultra Violette SPF 50 can’t be sold in the US. You know the Aussies know their sunscreen. The ingredients are approved in the EU, so you know the FDA just doesn’t make it a priority. My Aussie BFF has to stock up when she goes back to Oz to visit her family.
Decades ago, Merle Norman Cosmetics sold their basic mascara in brown, black, and two blackened-color shades called Night Violet and Night Sapphire. They were truly wonderful! Just enough blue or purple to enhance eye colors, without being too "in your face." Now with the various makeup brands trying to make colored mascara happen, I keep waiting for something similar. If it were marketed right, I bet it would do well.
I like the blackened colors and have used them. The ones now are too bright, imo. They could be aiming to attract younger consumers, though. If so, it’s not a bad plan (just $$$).
L’Oréal Voluminous has a deep burgundy, deep violet and deep green mascara that are pretty! 😍 The brighter color’s like Colourpop aren’t good for my age range but do look nice on younger people’s lower lashes IMO! 🤗🙏💜❤️
Does anyone remember Benefit’s Bad girl lash that came in a deep plum color? I loved that. It was subtle but good. I also used DiorShow mascara in blue about 10 years ago. ALSO, maybelline or maybe L’Oréal had like glitter drops to top your mascara with in the late 90s or early 2000s so it looked like little glittery dew drops on your lash tips. Beautiful ad campaign but I don’t think that product worked as intended. 😅
Ok so the one size setting spray is legit. I sweat a lot from my face, and it is the only setting spray that keeps my makeup on my face. One size really had great products at great prices. I own almost the entire line.
The setting spray kept my makeup looking nearly PERFECT until I returned to my hotel after nearly 12 hours in the park at Disney World this spring and it was NINETY DEGREES all day!! It's truly bulletproof!!!
I may need to pick that one up for truly long days! I've found the Hard Candy sprays go at least 8 hrs, esp the Slay All Day, and the new Dollar Tree line of setting spray, La Merciere, is great for 4-6+ hours, and is actually moisturizing, but I do need a 12-16 hr spray for travel days, conferences, etc. Or just looking nice at festivals and such lol...
Okay so as a consumer I am THRILLED about the updates regs. But as an indie brand lover, I know this is going to be an additional cost in manufacturing and a barrier to entry in the market. Hopefully the small business exemptions are enough to support small biz without sacrificing consumer protection!!!
Agreed . I mean let’s be real, when have 99% ever experienced a bad unhygienic product with dangerous ingredients? The only time I’ve ever seen an issue is with Jaclyn Hill. Maybe if you’re buying from some moron off the street but that’s on you. Consumer freedom of choice and the ability of small businesses to thrive and be creative and use newer technologies and ingredients is stunted by FDA regulations. They can’t keep our food healthy and safe, they have approved drugs that are harmful and even deadly to people . Why the heck would I want them telling me what I can and can’t put on my body ? I don’t. FDA should stay out of skin cosmetics and herbal supplements and vitamins. People’s choice not the government.
I’m a hairstylist, and personally I only like the olaplex No 2 and the mask for backbar for professionals to use on clients, didn’t like the shampoo and conditioner and the other products just didn’t stand out to me, I’ve had many clients start coming to me and they describe how they didn’t like their hair and why and once they stopped using the olaplex shampoo and conditioner their hair got better. I don’t think that it’s bad products but just like any other hair products it may not be for everyone
I worked for natura bisse when Beyonce said in an interview that she uses their brand. They were going to gift her over £5000 of skincare. They had her or people on the phone and we were told very politely that Mrs Carter is happy to purchase it herself and the call ended. Her team are so protective of her image and reputation. I would have bigged up the makeup artist not the client
It’s never a negative when someone doesn’t accept free products they don’t need. There are people who don’t have her money that those products would better serve. Giving rich people free things should not be a norm. Good on her for rejecting it.
I worked for Sephora for 8 years (on & off). There is no contract you have to sign around social media, but when I was in a leadership position, we were given guidelines on how to run a social media account for our specific stores & that we couldn’t tag our personal accounts. I will say that Sephora gets very serious about retail theft. I once was almost terminated for walking out of my store to get my products back from a guy who stole them. Thankfully I just got a warning. That ex employee seems very… irresponsible & she might just have been fired for being a bad employee & is using that TikTok as clout for why she got fired. Just my opinion. Edit: I worded myself wrong. I didn’t have to sign a social media contract in the 8 years I was involved with SEPHORA as a company. Sorry about that!
almost terminated for walking out of my store to get my products back from a guy who stole them? What would have been the better response? Call 911? Stand in the doorway and yell out, hey mister, come back with that stolen product!! ?
@@rivpom We were taught to just let them take the products and report the incident to our loss prevention team who would review the cameras but we didn’t have an LP agent at the time. That incident made me realize that Sephora (and retail in general) just wants to cover their asses in case anything happens to their employees. They don’t wanna be held accountable should the thief have had a weapon & harmed an employee. I don’t agree with any of it which is why I’m no longer in retail hahaha
38:00 The moment I heard the company was called "Mango People", I knew the owner had to be of South Asian origin! In Hindi, common man/the public/the general populace is sometimes referred to as the 'aam janata' (roughly meaning the general public). The word 'aam' has another meaning beside 'general'. That other meaning is 'mango', as in mango the fruit. That's why the 'general public' (aam janata) is sometimes (often in a humorous way) referred to as the 'mango people'. 😄
My older sisters were young teens when _Grease_ originally hit theaters, and they told me how they BEGGED my parents to take them to go see it. My dad appropriately responded with one of the kings of all Dad Jokes: "If you want to see grease, go look in the garage."
I finished watching the Pain Killer series. I was in shock how the marketing for Oxycontin used a plush for it's marketing and how they were not held accountable.
After giving us OxyContin why the heck do we want the FDA anywhere near our cosmetics and skin care ? I don’t . They can’t even keep American food safe . The drugs kill people. Stay out of cosmetics skin care and natural health.
Ugh oxycontin has destroyed so many lives, possibly even killed millions, it's insanely addictive and it's absolutely shocking how the company was able to lie for years that it's not addictive and money, they have killed so many people (oxycontin started the whole drug crises).
As a recovering (opiate) addict, I don't respect the fda. After I watched dozens of my friends die, it just makes it hard to respect the place that put them in that situation (im talking about early 2000s where everyone was pushed onto drugs by Dr's) just to make some money.

I worked at Victoria's Secret 20 years ago, and any photography, not video but still pictures, taken inside the public areas would get you severely reprimanded. If we had taken pictures of any of the 'backstage' area, we would be immediately fired. She's acting like this isn't every companies policy. And sharing secrets after the fact is begging for a lawsuit.
20:38 - From someone who worked retail since I was 16yrs old who worked so many years ending up as a Store Manager (also worked loss prevention for a time), I feel I it was a multitude of things that got her fired. I know Sephora is heavy with loss prevention, but maybe they didn’t want all that advertised and in that manner. Also, if she’s bragging about time theft, she’s probably done it A LOT and been late A LOT. That alone will get you fired. Last thing, looks like she’s in the stockroom and there may be company specific docs/sales numbers they might not want shown. That’s my full analysis 🤓😂
I’m assuming her manager wasn’t aware of her social media stuff until the anti-theft one got flagged up… because I would’ve put her on a warning for posting footage from back of house, and I would’ve fired her for stealing time from the company and publicly bragging about it
The Sephora could have fired her for all the things she posted not just about the theft video but everything. Because the woman was posting things which in turn could get her fired. Also this whole thing could have been avoided if she just followed company policy and never posted any videos while at work because if the company has policies in place than just follow them it's pretty simple.

I am devotee of colored mascara. My first blue mascara was Chanel. It was Soooo good. Now I only wear L’Oréal because only they have a range. Yess here for YSL
Sephora STILL does over charge on sales tax..I live in PA and they have been doing this for quite some time now..most of the time after the items have been shipped then they recharge the correct sales tax...I dont get it..if they have your address in their data base..you should be charged the EXACT tax at the place order..
I agree! I found that QVC does it, also. When I called to have it corrected, they told me that’s sales tax for my ZIP code - not true, I even called the city to verify. Anyway, it taught me to start watching what companies charge when shipping products.
Grease is my husband’s favorite movie! I also love it! One of the few times I got my husband to dress up for Halloween was doing characters from grease!
It used to be widely available and unfortunately, a lot of them were terrible. Every once and a while a luxury line or a drugstore line will re-release one.
Having now seen for myself a (confidential) spurious lawsuit at my own job...yeah, I'm not using lawsuits as evidence for or against anything anymore. Some people have very real harm done to them, but some people ACTUALLY just make stuff up for a payday🤷
Love that you called Kackie spicy 😂. For anyone who doesn't watch her, she is quite funny and has an impressive grasp of color theory. She also has a great vocabulary. I enjoy watching her even though her makeup style differs from mine.
Love your content. You’re my Sunday indulgence. I like both Grease but yes, the original is so much more iconic than 2. No to blue mascara but plum/burgundy is doable. I wish more brands would come out with brown more than colors. It’s not easy to find a higher end brand with brown, snd waterproof. It’s a needle in s haystack.
Hello, I have been a hairstylist for 23yrs and I was a huge olaplex user since the day it came out, but the system did take us longer to perform services which was one of its huge drawbacks. When k18 came out, myself and other stylist started using it, we loved how it left our clients hair and it only added a few min (4-8min) to our services not like olaplex that could easily add 30min to an hour depending on which part of the treatment the client required. I believe because of this most of the hairstylist I know have switched over to treatments like k18 over olaplex. Also our clients find the k18 at home treatments much easier and realistic to use at home vs olaplex.
Forget to mention, not one of my clients or even coworkers have ever talked about the lawsuit that olaplex was in. I think it was because they already weren’t using olaplex anymore anyway.
I get the olaplex salon service about every 4 months and have been getting it for at least a year. I don't use any of their other products, but for me, it's made a good difference in my hair. I love it and will continue with it.
I like the O/S setting powder. Did not know about the setting spray but definitely one to have for vacation or beach days or… rainy days . Cool story Jenn!
I worked at Ulta for 1 year and we do sign a contract where we can not share information about their loss prevention. I would imagine at Sephora is about the same. Her video somehow exposed the fact that they have a security and for sure will help people to be more careful and somehow help them to improve the way they steal things IMO.
I actively try to avoid influencer brands, I just find the influencer economy to be so corrupt, but O/S seems very legit. I loved my brow pencil, which ipsy sent - I'm not sure I ever finished up a brow product that fast, and never got distracted by another option. I wish Patrick would denounce certain abusive entertainers on YT, but their crimes are not on him or other influencers at all, and I am impressed by the attention to quality. Esp since influencer brands do receive more specific criticism than other types, and the criticism def seems to go viral faster. I appreciate his commitment to good business practices Apologies if I messed up pronouns, I've seen both he & they used for Patrick.
I've honestly loved everything from onesize that I've tried so far. The powders, eyeshadow, concealer, setting spray have been incredible. Idk if Patrick is problematic, but they actually seem to really care about their brand and it shows it's not just a $$grab for them. I truly believe make-up is Patricks passion and I'll goadly spend my money on brands like that. And the way they handled that setting soray mishap was perfect and other brands should take note
It’s my opinion that the anti theft video grabbed the attention of Sephora and then they looked at some of her other videos, like the ones you mentioned and that’s why she got fired…
I'm pretty sure that most employers have some kind of social media contract in their hiring paperwork now. I work at Panera and can't post anything while I'm at work, or that the company deems "inappropriate" or reflects poorly on the brand outside of work (sexual, racist, drug-related, photos of me partying, etc). I'm a manager, so my contract is more strict than that of the associates, but everyone has to sign one.
@jenluv, The problem with the Topicals product, comes in the “How to use” on their site., its recommended by them to apply over SPF, so RETINOL and BHA over SPF exposed to the sun. The Sephora site says “Use under SPF”. Their site usage instructions, makes that problematic, especially if you bought it from them directly and don't see the right information.
Jen you look beautiful today ,olaplex has always helped my hair over the last two years and i have never had any complaints ! i have the bottles 3 of olaplex in my bathroom as it stands and will always buy these . i have blue eyes and my eyes just pop !
I grew up watching Grease as well! My mom has a home video of 4 year old me acting out ALL the songs. I will never forget the day that all the innuendos clicked and I realized that they weren’t talking about a fast car in Greased Lightning! I immediately looked at my mom and was like “you let me watch this as a little kid??” I do like Grease 2 better, but I love the cheesy movies!
Im So happy for Kackie I was on the site ordering a bundle of blushes and the lip gloss I can’t wait to get them , and as well I had never heard of this company until her launch 💜
What kills me with the FDA is that you know millions of our tax dollars have gone to paying people to work in the cosmetics department and they havent updated anything since the 70s. We pay enuff in taxes and deserve to be protected by our government from greedy cosmetic companies and manufacturers. Such a nice story about Patrick Star. So cute.
I'm one of your Missourian viewers. And I got my email saying how much I would be getting from the lawsuit. 14 cents! Whoohoo!! I love me some Grease, but Grease 2 holds a special place in my heart. Coooooool rider!!
What a blessing for Patrick Star and if this helped Beyonce to keep her makeup looking good for the conditions than his product deserves to be praised…and I’ve never tried any of his products so this is an objective comment! As always…enjoyed the video Jen!!!xoxoxo
Last week, I received $9.73 from the Sephora Missouri Tax Settlement Payment. In all honesty, I had no idea that a class action lawsuit had been filed, but I am glad that I was included. I ordered tons of stuff during that time period.
I have very green eyes so I used to LOVE the Benefit BadGal Plum mascara. It always made my eyes POP - because plum colors enhance green eyes - while being a subtle color in and of itself. I was SO BUMMED when they discontinued it!! 😮💨
Have you ever tried Lancôme? The Le 8 Hypnôse Serum-Infused Volumizing Mascara comes in a Burgundy/Plum shade. I have Brown eyes, so if I want to be fun yet tame with my makeup(because I don't usually use much mascara), I will go pop of colour on the lashes and use Blue, with a shimmer on the lid. The Blue is pretty bold, so you might like the Burgundy one(Noir Grenat). Hourglass shaped wand, though if you clean your fave shape wand, you can use it with anything. It's kinda pricey at $33, but I love their Hypnôse mascaras, though I kinda love Bad Gal BANG more, especially the wand, and will poke them in feedback to bring back the fun mascara colours, because I love that formula.
When Grease came out my sister and her friend saw that movie over 100 times. Of course it was in theaters because there were no tapes or anything like that at the time.
I use color mascara almost daily - Lower lashes only. BUT…. I have Heterochromia (eyes are two colors ) and another type of same condition that my eyes change color with what I wear- so I use blue green brown purple and magenta to flip the colors … I doubt I’m even a niche haha but I have never been unable to find them so some one is wearing them… (been wearing them for 30-35 years)
GREASE!!!! That musical has followed me so much. I was in a production as an ensemble member in High School. and I have vocal teachers choose songs from that musical for different solos and group songs for melody shows. I am all for it for nostalgia.
You also love in the DC area?! My second favourite place in the US! (It’s the museums, plus I have friends in VA and MD) awesome! I wonder if the FDA is tightening things up with a view to making it much easier (and cheaper) for US brands to move into the U.K./EU markets? I for one would LOVE to be able to buy Colorpop and other brands without having to either pay huge shipping and import costs, assuming they even ship here.
I have virgin hair and Olaplex caused me contact dermatitis my hair never looked worst it was the only product i was using .I kept using it 3 more times to make sure where my irritation was coming from and yes it was the shampoo.Once i stopped using it My scalp went back to normal no more res irritation and dandruff.
Virgin hair ❤ what were you going for by using the Olaplex? Sorry to hear you had a reaction 😢 you might have a super sensitive scalp. Make sure you start using hats 👒 ❤ hi i am ivania btw. Very chatty in this channel 😂
Olaplex is for repairing hair that is damaged by coloring/processing, not virgin hair. That's probably why your hair didn't look good. Overloaded your hair with protein, which will damage it. As for your scalp, idk.
Another good setting spray that holds up very well in heat and humidity is Charlotte Tilbury’s. Although, I believe it’s just a tad more expensive! Lol! Some things are just worth the price to me.
Jen, just started watching your site. I'm now subscribed! Just wanted to tell you your eyes looking beautiful. I've seen you wearing darker shades but the eyeshadow you have on today just brings out your eyes. I think it's the lighter color. I so enjoy your topics and how you present them.
I would looove a good, vivid, waterproof colored mascara... especially in blues, purples, or greens. I like using them on my lower lashes to brighten my eyes.
Omw, I have been just staring at your eye shadow since the start of the video! Love it and so glad to know where I can get it! Love Rose and Ben! Also, I've been enjoying your slightly off-center hair part. Lovely!
Maybe colored mascara will sell more now that there are so many more cosplayers/character artists on social media. That was a big reason KVD's colored eyebrow pomade sold well. I still miss those colors. Eyeshadow just doesn't do enough.
I think she is sending the whole PR to u!! She said it in video that the people she sending it to is in her links.. ur name is on there. So it’s cool u bought some anyways!! Love ur content..
I got the YSL blue mascara and initially I was like "is this going to look odd"! Well I haven't stopped using it, really brightens my face and is the same brilliant lash clash formula! I wear it without eyeshadow but cos its blue it doesn't need eyeshadow. I'm glad I took the plunge and tried it xxx
From what I understand from my hairdresser, products like Olaplex are/can be very good for your hair and are not damaging in and of themselves - BUT, she also told me that it is possible to "overbond" the hair, making it too stiff and possibly prone to breakage. I am no professional myself, but that I why I take a good look at not mixing too many proteins in my haircare as a whole.
Wait...okay, I did not know about the MO lawsuit. Lemme go see what's going on. Thanks for sharing this! The video from when you were in KC...immediately recognized the areal. LOL! Also, seeing Patrick in that joyous moment made me smile. I love to see people happy and thriving and joyous. We don't see it enough these days...
I have blue eyes and love using blue mascara on my lower lashes. Makes my eye color pop!!! I love your eye look today! The colors are so pretty on you. Just so colorful and face brightening! Makes me tempted to try the palette.
I bought another of that fabulous setting spray right after the videos came out about the glitch. It's my favorite! Patrick Starr did the right thing too.
They had to keep the metro open two hours past closing time because of Madona. It sucked sitting in those tiny little no legroom seats waiting for her to go on stage. Hubs and I drove from Waldorf to the line near AAFB and rode the metro into DC. It was a Sunday night and everyone was freaking out because the concert hadn’t even started yet and the line was supposed to close down soon. Thank god they announced they would keep it open. 99% of the audience sighed in relief. 😂
I like colorful mascaras but it's difficult to find wp formulas unfortunately. I prefer a warm russet brown, burgundy/purple or deep green over blue or black. The ones by Loreal are pretty good but they aren't wp so are a no-go for my watery allergy eyes.
I work at a beauty supply store for professional stylists. Olaplex was always excluded from any discounts and never went on sale. In the past year we have had multiple occasions where Olaplex has gone 20% off. I can certainly say that olaplex doesn’t sell like it used to because of the lawsuits and claims made against it. It doesn’t help that competing brands are coming out with similar bond building products but I hear people talking about the lawsuit and have had many conversations about this with customers. Thank you for sharing!
Grease all the way! I'm with you re meaning of the songs... i was so young but needed those black satin pants (no one knew that in the movie they were leather !) 😂 people should try the l'Oreal versions of color mascaras first before spending that much... color can help with to enhance the white of the eye of after a crying fit! Cheers!

100% pure has a beautiful blackberry toned mascara. And all their products are clean!
yes, you already marketed it well for me. I want a blackened purple mascara ASAP! 😂
Ok so the one size setting spray is legit. I sweat a lot from my face, and it is the only setting spray that keeps my makeup on my face. One size really had great products at great prices. I own almost the entire line.
I'm taking notes on that spray. 👀
I’ve only tried the setting powder, and I love it!
I love the liquid eyeliner.
Yes, I'm scared for the indie nail community. If they need to list every pigment they add to their bases, that's going to be very time consuming.
I really hope we also get a sunscreen filters update from the FDA! I know that Charlotte Parler is running a campaign for it.
I wasn't impressed by the shampoo and conditioner. I like No. 6 and No. 7. My stylist always uses No. 2 when lightening my hair.
You have to sign a social media contract now
I worked at Sephora for seven years and you had to sign a pretty extensive social media contract.
Wow that’s wild. I stopped working there in 2020 so I guess now they’re even more strict than they already were.
almost terminated for walking out of my store to get my products back from a guy who stole them?
Thank you for this!!
@@jenluv You're welcome!
My older sisters were young teens when _Grease_ originally hit theaters, and they told me how they BEGGED my parents to take them to go see it. My dad appropriately responded with one of the kings of all Dad Jokes:
"If you want to see grease, go look in the garage."
That's so funny.
After watching the documentary Painkiller on Netflix, I have even less respect for the FDA. Yes they need to change and that’s an understatement.
@@AKbaby89the trouble though is now they're going to the complete opposite end of the spectrum and us with chronic pain is having trouble getting the medications we need and it's causing so many to unalive themselves cuz they cannot get treatment for our pain
Physical public isn't allowed in back of a store, so neither is virtual.
I’m assuming her manager wasn’t aware of her social media stuff until the anti-theft one got flagged up… because I would’ve put her on a warning for posting footage from back of house, and I would’ve fired her for stealing time from the company and publicly bragging about it
My mom swears by blue mascara 😂 so those brands that make blue mascara have at least 1 loyal customer 😅
Me too. Right there with your mom.
I also love colored mascaras!
Imagine being a transit worker and being told "you gotta do over time. Beyonce is paying for it" I would be so mind blown!
My thought!! How did it even go down??

Ok Jen! You are slaying your today! You need to start linking where you buy your tops in your descriptions again! I want all of them!
I am devotee of colored mascara. My first blue mascara was Chanel. It was Soooo good. Now I only wear L’Oréal because only they have a range. Yess here for YSL
😊 rouge noir Chanel ❤ vamp mascara
Just wanna say that I appreciate Jen not making us jump through hoops or do a bunch of extra, to enter a giveaway. Super simple and thanks!
Loreal has had colored mascara for years. Blue, green, maroon and purple. I have used them all. Fun stuff
Ooohh Voluminous is soooo gooood ❤❤❤❤❤ LOreal makes the jewel tone green
I am a huge fan of blue mascara! I wish MORE companies would come out with it. Wish this one wasn't at a YSL price point though...
It used to be widely available and unfortunately, a lot of them were terrible. Every once and a while a luxury line or a drugstore line will re-release one.
@@catherinelynnfraser2001 Korres had one in 2008 ish that I loved, but it's been discontinued for over a decade. :(

@@AlexHider Yup. And the Navy is perfection!
The idea of a Grease collection is great, I just wish it was someone other than Makeup Revolution 😩
As always, thanks for the research you conduct for this channel. I really appreciated the segment on FDA.
@@yolieluve8417I love K18! I use their whole line which has made a MAJOR difference in my hair. Glad to hear you're using it in your salon.
Omg the FDA is actually doing stuff?? I'm looking forward to the enforced changes and how it'll impact our shopping experience!
I worked at Ulta for 1 year and we do sign a contract where we can not share information about their loss prevention. I would imagine at Sephora is about the same. Her video somehow exposed the fact that they have a security and for sure will help people to be more careful and somehow help them to improve the way they steal things IMO.
Exactly
Sunday afternoon with you is my happy time. Lurking always lol 😂❤😂
I loooooove everything I've tried from one/size. BY FAR the best TH-camr brand to ever come out.
I appreciate his commitment to good business practices
Apologies if I messed up pronouns, I've seen both he & they used for Patrick.
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory yeah I agree, I'm the same way. The only other influencer I support is Nikkia Joy.
Very excited about Kackie's collab with Finding Ferdinand. I ordered 4 blushes and the gloss and I can't wait to get them.🤗
Good, it’s about time. As a person who has surprise allergies from products every 3-5 business days, I’m glad they are finally doing something.
It’s my opinion that the anti theft video grabbed the attention of Sephora and then they looked at some of her other videos, like the ones you mentioned and that’s why she got fired…
I’ve worn blue mascara since high school in the 80’s. I just love it!
Yes, working at Sephora you have to sign an absolutely ridiculous social media contract. It’s insane
What kind of social media contract? Like they can’t post anything on social?
Why and what can't you do?
Really 22:22
I’m at work right now but I’ll see if I can re-find it, I have not worked for Sephora in 6 months
I actually thought of Florasis when I saw the puff, as it looks like the Asian Beauty style of heavy and plush cream/powder puffs.
* I already messaged the brand as well.
Seeing the Teavana in the background of that clip from 2016 really made me miss that time. I was obsessed with teavana!
Back in the early 80’s when I was a teenager I used to use blue mascara from time to time. It didn’t catch on then either 🌸

I had no idea it was going on. I got almost $100 back via my PayPal account. I thought it was a scam at first!
I got $52 back. I was also skeptical of the email but then I saw the money in my PayPal account. I'll take it lol.
As a fellow green eyed human…. Yes!!!! I loved that mascara so much!!!
Loreal makes a burgundy and a plum mascara you just really have to search for it. Only some CVS carry it.
L’Oréal has a plum one - I love it
When Grease came out my sister and her friend saw that movie over 100 times.

Your hair looks extra awesome in this vid!
Live in FL, so hot here lately. Trying the OneSize spray! Hoping it prevents make up from coming off from sweat!

Thanks for another great video, Jen!
Maybe colored mascara will sell more now that there are so many more cosplayers/character artists on social media. That was a big reason KVD's colored eyebrow pomade sold well. I still miss those colors. Eyeshadow just doesn't do enough.
I live in Missouri and order online a lot. They are still adjusting the sales tax when you order online and ship to your house.

When I worked at ulta I don’t remember having to sign anything about what we could post on social media

Omg I'm from benedict/Waldorf area too haha!
