I love the pure joy and enthusiasm you exuded while sharing the final print hanging on the wall. It’s so easily relatable to the nostalgia I feel when thinking back to when I first started collecting comics too.
Uncle Jessy, this is amazing. I’ve been following for quite awhile and I’ve learned so much from your videos. I’m an avid comic fan too and this is breath of fresh air. Beautiful color details!
Epic Print! This is just awesome Jesse! Great Work! I am an art student in University and the whole process you went through is spot on with digital fabrication as a method of producing fine art or in this case commercial pop art. I just finished a 3d printed art project my self with the intention of selling my prints afterwards. I haven't had such a awesome response at an art critique before lol. I sold 15 prints so for out of the 78 prints I made for the project. It would be even more epic if you made two more of the same poster print you made but change the colors on other two. Place them all next to each other to make a triptych. You know like Andy Warhol made several reproductions of celebrities but with slight variations to them. Through a little and Andy into your art! lol. Awesome stuff Jesse. Very inspiring! Thanks for your dedication to covering the details of your process and your enthusiastic energy!
Todd McFarland is probably my favorite comic book Creator. Also spawn will always be my favorite I love the artwork the action figures the video games just such an awesome character!!
Awesome man! Printing it inverted and using the bed as the face of the print, would give you a better texture and hides the layer lines. I've done something similar with 3d name signs.
Uncle Jessy this is amazing!!, and it looks so good!! 💯 Well done!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Kudos!! Btw have you seen the McFarlane Gold 30th Anniversary Spawn and Todd McFarlane 2pk? Something you can add to your collection…
Did something similar in small. I needed more colors (the picture was mainly blue but had a red section) in my hueforge print so i photoshopped a area out and printed it separately. Needed a little sanding but turned out great.
Hueforge is so cool! I may end up getting me a td1 why not lol. I love your studio! Been working on getting mine setup recently. Would love to see how your place is setup sometime! Your videos are amazing, keep on keeping on!
@UncleJessy oh that's awesome! I'll be excited to see behind the scenes! Or I can just fly out there and hang out for a day 😆 Hangin with Uncle Jessy! Yesss!!! FR tho, love your videos man. You inspire me to make my content and studio better! 🤘🤙
Spawn is a great character. He seemed the most badass to me as a kid, Todd’s art is gorgeous. Love the animated series and even the 97 live action Spawn. I recently modeled, rigged, and animated my own CG Spawn, complete with epic cape cloth simulation.
Great job! While I don't use my Elegoo printers anymore, their filament is still the best affordable filament out there. I just run it on stock Bambu PLA settings and all of my prints come out perfectly!
Man, we have the same-ish childhood. I became obsessed with comics after the X-Men Animated Series, then became a Spawn fan in getting those comics, in a bundle, got Spawn number 4, and have been a fan ever since.
Your story about your Mom, reminded me so much of my Mom, who would take me to the grocery store, in exchange for doing my chores I got 1 dollars worth of comics each week Starting with Batman #252. It's how she got me to read and I had so many great books because of her.
That poster looks amazing, but I went in another direction, making HF business cards for my friends, as well as business card size art that is easy to bring to meetups for showing off.
So awesome! I traded my Pokémon cards for issue 1 of Spawn for my brother in the early 2000’s. Probably not a smart move looking back 😅 but I can say my brother has nearly every issue so knowing I’ve been a part of the collection is worth it.
So here’s a funny fact, I went to Golden apple comics on Melrose for the release of spawn and met Todd there and he signed my copy both of my copies and I did the same thing for Rob Lefeld Youngblood release. One of the small advantages of living in Los Angeles at the time. love this project. I’ve been waiting for the TD to be available again. It’s sold out so fast so got that ordered so I’ll be able to do more of these for myself. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Be well be you.
That is MAGNIFICENT!!! For me the image would be Dave Dorman's famous "Aliens vs. Predator" cover from Dark Horse Presents #36. I SSSSOOOOO have to get me a 3D printer. Okay, since you asked at the end if you can get hold of a copy of DHP #36 I'd like to see it but with a twist. There were 2 different covers. Each had the OTHER cover printed on the BACK cover. So if you could get the one with the pencil art on the front cover, I'd like to see you scan and print the PAINTED ART that's on the back cover. I've been to 6 San Diego comic-cons and Dave Dorman is the only person I've ever met that I had butterflies in my stomach before meeting. And I've met television and movie stars. I was honestly afraid I might throw up on the poor guy. I didn't.
Do I have this correct? The scanner detects the colour of the filament and gives a code for the colour in the software? Just thinking about getting a bamboo labs A1 combo and if doing something like this could be more automated by having 2 AMS hooked up
What update 3d printer can I get for a beginner that I can use my phone and kid friendly because I'm really not good at this❤😊but I just want one for diorama not a job but to do when I want❤😊
@@UncleJessy thank you do you have a video on it and do I need something to put fragment in as well. I saw the video but is it for a person in a small apartment.
Wow thats neat i would have framed it . I cant do that project because i resin print only. Thanks for the elegoo jupiter se review i bought one on amazon a month ago it,s a awesome printer. I had a peopoly phenom i did the upgrade and it didnt work then i bought the peopoly forge ran it for a year changed the lcd screen it didn,t work and they wouldnt exchange it . Then i seen you and the elegoo jupiter se i bought it on amazon i bought a back up lcd screen on amazon thats something i could never do with peopoly i would have to order from china that takes forever . Elegoo seems to be a consumer oriented company i hope they keep it up......
Nice! I Hueforged Spawn #1 a while back and it turned out wild. I posted a video on my IG and just added it to my TH-cam as a short. Now that the first two issues are down there is only like another 350 to go.
I saw your post on thr bambu Reddit and the print looked fantastic. The 3d effect looks awesome and honestly it's made me want an ams add-on for my own to try these
@@Hayzink Thank you! It took me like a week of part time work to redraw and hueforge it, but I was going for as close to 1:1 to the cover as possible, and was really focusing on separating background and foreground elements into their respective places in the mesh. You don't need an AMS to do hueforges because no color repeats on the same layer, you just have to be around to change spools when it is time. I post NO AMS profiles for my models on Makerworld (free) and Printables (club)
Ive been making harry potter hueforges for a HP event this September. I have about 40 right now. I'm hoping to have 100 for the event. Fingers crossed that it goes well!

You like comics? I had no idea! 🤣
That cover came out so good! 🔥
😂🤣😂 me? Comic books? Nope, not even once
Uncle Jessy, this is amazing. I’ve been following for quite awhile and I’ve learned so much from your videos. I’m an avid comic fan too and this is breath of fresh air. Beautiful color details!
Thanks! Yeah it was fun trying to make sure everything pops!
Someone like me. My very first comic book was Spawn #1, and I became hooked on the character and lore. This was awesome.
Your project came out amazing, keep up the great work. I cant wait to see more posters
Thanks man for the awesome tips& trick videos
This was absolutely amazing! One of the best 3D print ideas I've seen in a long time, would have never thought of 3D printing posters!! So epic!
Heck yeah! I want to do a few more
Thats a great idea,, 3d is freakin awesome!!!!
Dude that came out gorgeously! Way to go.... This has inspired me try some with some pictures I have
Heck yeah
That turned out so awesome. There are so many comic covers that would look good hanging on a wall.

Amazing! I have a sudden urge to try this on some of my early 2000ad comics. :)
Todd McFarland is probably my favorite comic book Creator. Also spawn will always be my favorite I love the artwork the action figures the video games just such an awesome character!!
This is the kind of video I'm always onboard with, 3D printing and a dude just making something he's passionate about and has nostalgia for.
That is so epic! Love your passion, it really shows ❤ I love you used Hueforge and the TD-1.
Thanks!! That tool made this a lot easier
Great video man. Amazing project and great job. Really enjoyed your enthusiasm 💪🏻💪🏻
Awesome man! Printing it inverted and using the bed as the face of the print, would give you a better texture and hides the layer lines. I've done something similar with 3d name signs.
"Get with the f*in program."😂😂😂
Try Hueforge! Now I HAVE to get a bigger printer... Thx😕
Nice to see Spawn getting some attention. It's seriously underrated!
A giant Silver Surfer #4 cover print is simply a must 👌
Since you left some space around when you added the back piece, you could add a led strip all around the back and give it a back glow
Oh man love that idea
I love this! I need to play with HueForge now...
i already loved this channel but knowing you are a big Spawn fan makes it that much better :)
Uncle Jessy this is amazing!!, and it looks so good!! 💯 Well done!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Kudos!!

Nice video I had the "same problem" as you and Spawn was my 1st comic !!! So great ! Nice job as usual !
Hueforge is so cool! I may end up getting me a td1 why not lol.
I love your studio! Been working on getting mine setup recently. Would love to see how your place is setup sometime! Your videos are amazing, keep on keeping on!
Heck yeah! Planning on doing more studio content here in the next few months! Renovation projects 🤘

@Uncle Jessy I've been waiting for this video!
When you print a HueForge you want zero part cooling. That will help with your curling issue.
Ohhh didn’t know that. Thanks.
Looks so good! Thx for showing us! 😎👍
Spawn is a great character. He seemed the most badass to me as a kid, Todd’s art is gorgeous. Love the animated series and even the 97 live action Spawn. I recently modeled, rigged, and animated my own CG Spawn, complete with epic cape cloth simulation.
LOL, I did the same and worked at KB! Love Spawn and this is awesome!!
Great job! While I don't use my Elegoo printers anymore, their filament is still the best affordable filament out there. I just run it on stock Bambu PLA settings and all of my prints come out perfectly!
Easily the coolest thing I have seen in a while!
Good thinking with hiding the seam in the lines of the illustration, it looks great !
Man, we have the same-ish childhood. I became obsessed with comics after the X-Men Animated Series, then became a Spawn fan in getting those comics, in a bundle, got Spawn number 4, and have been a fan ever since.
Loved it, would Like to see Ghost Rider #15 it was a Glow in the dark cover, So maybe use some GITD filament.
As a Punisher fan, I'd love to see some Punisher comics. Especially a Tim Bradstreet cover.
Your story about your Mom, reminded me so much of my Mom, who would take me to the grocery store, in exchange for doing my chores I got 1 dollars worth of comics each week Starting with Batman #252. It's how she got me to read and I had so many great books because of her.
😮wow that came out so awesome !!! ❤❤
This would look cool with a crystal clear epoxy resin pour over the top.
Oh man… okay I might have to do that
Video is looking extra crisp and sharp!!!
Looks awesome! It would be cool to see a whole comic book made from hueforge 😅
This looks amazing. Need to go back and play with Hue Forge some more.
I'd go to Woodcraft and get a sheet of 3mm Baltic plywood to use as a backer. That is an awesome print!
Holy crap! Thats awesome, would LOVE that to be a poster on my wall too!
A really fun project!
That's amazing!!! What a great idea!
Amazing! I want to try this and see what I could do with just 3 colors or maybe just black and white.
That poster looks amazing, but I went in another direction, making HF business cards for my friends, as well as business card size art that is easy to bring to meetups for showing off.
Nice, I was just thinking about making some posters with hueforge as well
Definitely should!
Awesome 👍, have you thought about doing it in reverse, putting the colours down on the build plate 🤔 . Got to be a starwars comic 💯
This came out soooo dang good!
Very cool ❤❤
It’s a good time to start making Christmas gifts! This could be it!
That is just unbelievable and awesome
So awesome! I traded my Pokémon cards for issue 1 of Spawn for my brother in the early 2000’s. Probably not a smart move looking back 😅 but I can say my brother has nearly every issue so knowing I’ve been a part of the collection is worth it.
That has to be such an awesome feeling having that!
Nice man! Looks great!
The shout out to mom though 🥹🥹🥹❤
that looks so good.
Now this is very impressive. Well done.

Okay now that is cool as hell. Still have fond memories of Savage Dragon, Shadow Hawk & the Pitt!
awesome video, love spawn, now you have my gears turning
I knrew it was Issue #2 Spawn from the blurred cover. got in a Multipack. Might have even been ToysRus. I didn't get issue #1 til years later.

Spawn doesn't get enough love.
Damn that looks amazing!!! 😍😍😍
Heck yeah! Thanks mate!
looks amazing
I love Hueforge but it's not easy to use with the latest Creality software.
Holy crap, you used that torch to clean that up. I just saw Jerryrigeverything where that torch melted an iPhone in a second.
😂🤣 yeah you gotta be quick with it
A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!! Spawn for ever 🏆
i was gonna ask someone with the gigastorm to print a hueforge on the giga. glad you did :)
Love Spawn!
Will this work on an Ender 3 pro ? And what settings should I use if so ?
I’ve been waiting for someone to finally use the Giga to print a hueforge!
The flex of using filament as weight to hold down the board is
Just perfect
Spawn ftw!!!
Spawn is one of my favorite .
Not gonna lie, this is f**kin’ AWESOME!
A backer board with white edges would have looked nice. Would have resembled the pages of the comic.
This is an awesome project!
SGT Rock cover would be cool!
Hey Clayton did you have to do anything to the Klipper file on the printer to get the pause to work or was it all done in Orca Slicer?
What update 3d printer can I get for a beginner that I can use my phone and kid friendly because I'm really not good at this❤😊but I just want one for diorama not a job but to do when I want❤😊
Something like the Bambulab A1 or the A1 mini would be a perfect option
@@UncleJessy thank you do you have a video on it and do I need something to put fragment in as well. I saw the video but is it for a person in a small apartment.
Very Nice!!
I'd love to see huge RGB pixelated photos and how they could recreate more complex images.
Love hue forge as an idea but struggling with the program. I do keep working at it though, someday soon it'll work for me!
I want to try this real bad! The first thing I printed on my giga was a full-size spawn bust

Is there a way to send us ur file if spawn 2? I've tried a couple times and can't get it to look anywhere like urs.
I have to try this. Can anyone suggest where to find comic book covers online if I don't have any comics to scan ?
SO awesome!
Wouldn't want to venture with anymore fdm printers of elegoo after the failure of neptune 4 but this is impressive in terms of size!!
Ohhh heck yeah, another toy to add to my printing.

The old House of Secrets comics had some awesome cover art.
