I think this moment shows how much charlotte has matured, after starting a relationship with Harry. When she was with other guys, she would always freak out, when something wasnt going the way she wanted. When Trey didn't propose, when she couldn't get pregnant, when Miranda didn't want w baby shower, when Samantha slept with her brother, those were big and little things that always shook her. But here, she has her wedding, and instead of focusing on having a perfect celebrations, she actually tries to enjoy it. Because it really doesnt matter to her if everything is perfect, or precisly the way she imagined, she should be just be celebrating, and it's all that metters in this moment.
The old Sex... Miranda was pretty with her spunky red hair, Charlotte had no fillers in her lips therefore didn't talk with a lispy speech impediment, Samantha was sitting next to Carrie and life was happy.

I always loved Charlotte, she had dreams and she never gave up on experiencing them! I don’t know if it’s just me, but I always feel like everything you want out of life always comes so hard, yet for others who don’t want it or appreciate as much it comes easy? Charlotte’s character was so relatable, we can all say we know that woman who dreams of the perfect man, the perfect engagement, the perfect wedding, the perfect kids… the perfect life. She’s such a great example of a woman chasing those things, but never actually getting them the way she had picture perfect it in her mind. This was her second marriage, she became a Jew, she struggled getting pregnant and Harry was not her ideal perfect man on the outside. I love how Carrie gave her that pet talk in the bathroom, it reminded her what was important. It might not have been the picture perfect wedding she had hoped for, but she was marrying the man she loved and who she had been looking for all her life, and that’s the most important thing :)
Watching this bc I had PTSD from my wedding. I feel like an awful person for feeling this way. It wasn't perfect but it was so chaotic. Our best man's speech was full of inappropriate sex jokes/stories. Husband's family loves inappropriate jokes. Guests weren't listening and were doing their own thing despite having an emcee. Anyhoo, I just remembered this episode and it's giving me some healing :)
As I get older, I really think my partner and I are just going to get married at court house. Then keep it classy by having close friends and family to dinner at Maggiano’s or something 😂!
Don’t you think the term PTSD is a bit extreme... I mean some people really suffer PTSD following a rape or being in a war zone... out of respect for them you should choose your words with a bit of tact
My parents got married at a courthouse in Maryland in August wearing shorts (my mom is Jewish and my dad is Agnostic, so there was that factor too). They are about to celebrate their 46th.

That's what I'm thinking. Charlotte's brother was even featured in an episode so at least he should have made a cameo for the wedding. When Charlotte was walking down the aisle in her first wedding, the man that walked him I assumed is her father.
*Miranda: "I would like to congratulate." "MY VERY BRAVE FRIEND, Charlotte." "Who knows what she wants" and "WHO GOES FOR IT." "Not everybody can do that." "Especially when it comes to LOVE." "Some of us can't even say the words."*
I guess it also applies to Harry in Charlotte's life ☺️. He wasn't at all about appearances. He's not all that stuff that Charlotte thought that she wanted. The most important thing was underneath.
Not one of carries’ best looks. On the other hand, Samantha and Miranda looked drop gorgeous! As well as the bride, of course. And the “is this a toast or a roast?” became one of my favourite sayings 😂
And what this resulted in was a girl who insisted on being called "Rock" and "they them." RUN, younger Charlotte. Or you'll face a future full of cringey wokeness. RUUUUNNNNNNNNN!
*Or*, Charlotte could put on her big girl panties and actually parent her little brats. If she (and Harry) did a better job of putting their children in their place, they could actually be bearable.
Dear she looked sublime! 🙏🏻 And what a great message! You don't need a perfect wedding if you've found the guy for a gorgeous life! 😊

What are you talking about?
She was crying and freaking out because her wedding dress was dirtied.
Right before this Carrie calmed her in tbe bathroom.

Amelia, my point was to the main comment saying that she had calmed down a lot when it wasn’t true.

My suggestion: elope and then have a big wedding. Takes a lot of pressure off and then you can actually have fun with your friends and family.

The funniest is when they went to the tantric massage class. 🤣😂
Why don’t we ever see Charlotte’s family. Not even at her weddings?
We almost never see any of the girls family during the show, they wanted to focus on their friendship
