1994 VW T4 Eurovan Westfalia CV Joint and Steering Tie Rod Problem Fixed

We recently started hearing a knocking sound coming from the front of the Westfalia while driving. We suspected a CV joint issue but the noise went away. That didn't last long, unfortunately, as the noise came back louder and louder. After a harrowing drive to the mechanic, we discovered that the right CV joint/axle boot had ripped and grease leaked out. We also found out that the right tie rod end had worn out, which caused the majority of the noise and some shaking in the steering wheel when going above 75 km/h. But that's now been fixed and the van is as good as new (sorta new, anyway for a '94 Westie).
