In this Geo Talk, Patrick goes outside of the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, above the small town of Gardner. From this vantage point, you can see some of the evidence of the forces that shaped the Yellowstone area. Learn a bit more about the volcanic action of Yellowstone, the Ice Event (Ice Age) that was prominent here, as well as see a great video from the National Park Service, showing the catastrophic effects of the flooding of the Yellowstone River in the late spring of 2022. It all goes together to help explain this incredible spot that we know as Yellowstone National Park.
