We have travelled to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand to try one of the country's most famous dishes made vegan: Pad Thai!
Eaten across the world, Pad Thai is a noodle dish served traditionally with beansprouts, vegetables and egg, topped with crushed peanuts. To make it plant-based, many restaurants swap out the egg for scrambled tofu. You can find Pad Thai across Thailand and almost anywhere around the world! Join us as we try some in its home country. One vegan snack in Thailand I would recommend is "ขนมกุ่ยช่าย" Ka-Nom-Kui-Chai. It mades from vegetable mixed with flour and steamed or fried. Dip in the sour soy source. For me I prefer the fried version 😉
