This whole layout of this area of bouncing balls should belong in a sonic game like the casino levels imo, the whole rebound gimmick, also the return of the old enemies from Megaman 5 & 6 cannopillars, lyrics and even dodompa cannons.
This is one of two(that i know of) bosses in the entire series that become harder when their weaknesses are used on them. the other is double, from megaman X4. interestingly, it becomes harder for similar reasons. bounce man splits apart, double's blobs become bladed disks or drones. you'll need to see them , it's hard for me to explain.
Arguably, both Burst Man and Slash Man from Mega Man 7 count too (and Shade Man to a Lesser extent), as it make Them automatically use their harder attacks

Bounce Man is such a cute robot master. What an absolute unit! His stage is really long and gets irritating in the second half. Great weapon tho.

Your tricks really helped. I finally got through this area. Bounce Man was a breeze even with the buster.
I miss Rush Marine and Rush Drill. Wish they'd bring them back with purpose.

This stage is obnoxious. I can never get mega to bounce higher when I need him too. He gives you a great weapon though.
You just have to keep the jump button pressed down in order for him to bounce higher, it's not a timing thing.

So the trick is to just have all of the other weapons first.

There’s also Metal Man in MM2, because his lightweight frame for his agility is so light that his own blades can straight up one-shot him
