This anime cut out or changed some of my favorite parts of the series. One of which was in this episode. When Alpha cut the monster it just appeared, nobody noticed her do it. It wasn't some giant flashy magic attack like in the anime. It was a good way of showing how fine of a control she has on her magic compared to someone like Iris who just throws her power around to get things done.

It feels amazing when Lord shadow gives baddies their just deserts. this story even as a manga makes me giggle like a little girl there is just something soo raw but also wholesome about it that i dont get with overlord since everyone in overlord is super evil and i cant root for somebody like Ainz but shadow Garden is just so cool.

Zenon's opening seems to be either a weird tai chi stance or a Victorian cane fighting stance, but the sword is a bit too long, pose wrong and they, of course, are not fighting with canes. A late medieval fencing stance would make sense if he had a gauntlet, buckler/shield or a dagger waiting to intercept an incoming blow to control the blade or to set up a grapple. Weirdly the swordmanship in this show reminds me of German and Italian HEMA styles, but the scale and positions are off. Alexia's common straight vertical stance for example seems like a Vom Tag or a resting position for a Zweihander, not a regular sword. It's been years since I studied any martial arts, but those are my two bits. Or it could of course be an artists failure not to consider the difference between single and double-edge stances and Japanese-European preferences due to that.
yep i named them evil jellybeans since that what they look like :P and he wastful wiht them some still in the bottle and a few spilled out of his mouth. for me i learned the basic of fighting but i polished them over 30+years my tae kown do teacher taught us both kicks and punches, throws, etc. then a took a year of akido and jujitus plus a few months my muy tai to pick up a few things i was missing (elbow and knee stikes mostly) now i jsut patice the basics i got till it mostly automatic reponse :P
