That forward control thingy is badass. Kudos to MB for making this incredibly cool and unique casting. Nice lineup overall. Moving parts line seems to be improving!
I like the Mustang and the Toyota Prius Prime! I wasn't interested in the Land Rover Forward Control at first, but after seeing how the sunroof can open, I'm sold! Like, damn, they didn't have to do that!😂
Mini has the best opening hood I've seen in a semi premium MB or HWs. Hats off to the designers and production folks! That said, my fav is the LR FC. My buddy found one for me on the pegs a few weeks ago, and I'm very happy to have it in the collection.
Only one I didn't care for was the Dull gray Benz. All the others were pretty nice. I guess I would also pick the MINI and the Camper as best execution of moving parts. Funny I actually got a moving parts Matchbox in the mail today. The Bizzarrini. It is such a cool Italian sports car that somewhat resembles the Cobra Daytona coupe Lamborghini Miura and a Ferrari 250 GT.
Hi great review for the the national parks Jeep why didn't they put bigfoot in the back 😂😂 and who else agrees with the k9 police vehicle has 2opening doors yet the German Shepherd only On the left should have back to back so German Shepherd looks from both sides of vehicle cheers observation dude 😂👍👍✌️✌️🤠🦅⭐
Now that was a cool and varied selection. I liked the Mini and the Mustang the best, as they look accurate, detailed and the opening part works and doesn’t have any negative effect on the overall look. Something is definitely off with the Prius though. The wheels are too big and it just doesn’t look as cool as the real thing (or compared to other die cast brands). That Land Rover is screaming for suspensions. Regarding the opening doors and the gaps, Matchbox just need to step up their game. I don’t know if it is a design issue, or production line issue, but their doors really suck when compared to rival brands like Tomica or Majorette. Both these brands, with a few exceptions, barely have any visible gaps in their castings with opening doors. And they usually open better. So I wonder why Matchbox persists in offering a feature that looks bad, sometimes barely work or doesn’t work at all. Weird…
@@Championdjk When you look into it, Matchbox seems to have weird limitations that other companies do not have. Just look at the two rivets situation for example, forcing these big ugly poles in the back of vans, SUVs, etc. I remember that the lead designer at Matchbox told Lamley that they didn't have any choice about it. But then you see other companies like Majorette doing the same models with just one rivet and a clip on system for the back. Heck!! Even Hot Wheels does it on occasion.
I feel the same way about mustangs. In saying this, given the variables in the Mustang design, it makes sense that they make them. I just bought the dark horse mustang from hotwheels by saying "oh no, another mustang....😂. Oh well. Having grown up from a young age and seeing the original marketing from the 1960 era, I guess that it worked well seeing I still buy them in all years and variations. Edit.. I looked pictures of the real current prius and the proportions look about right. It is a sporty looking car for a 4 door model. th-cam.com/video/-Q1dJzEgxEY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dlf1C1Bu-r8X6r0W A link to a preview of the real prius model. The matchbox is pretty close to it. It could be sen as a bit squeezed but not by much.

It is weird that other brands can pull it off. It makes me think that it may be some sort of factory limitation.

How do I buy this brother?
Can someone please tell me what the metal contacts are on the bottom of the National Parks Cherokee?
Rear door hinges? 🤔
Correct, they are the door hinges
Thanks guys
