I am taking a plane from Bangkok down to Surat Thani for a 3 night getaway. In this video, I will be showing you the full experience as I travel down there and stay in the jungle for the first night and then we will be making a trip out into Khao Sok National Park to experience 500Rai and the floating villa life that is seemingly similar to a Maldives villa experience.

I visited Khao Sak National Park and stayed in a tree house there about 30 years ago. Back then there was nothing in the area.....really really remote area....I don't remember there being any shops or any other accomodations around other than this basic tree house place we were staying at....all meals were served there (iirc every single meal was rice, pineapple and bananas!) as there were no restaurants anywhere. Wow, has it changed!
