I love how this fighter looks but i was wondering if 6.0 is too high of a br for it.

I firmly believe the whole chain from the A6M2 through the N1K series is 0.7-1.0 higher than it should be.

try it in simulator, it is very stable compared to other planes and the flght performance doesnt do weird things like the J2M flight model which would roll to the opposite side quite ofen when you turn
The 20mm has much greater damage and the cockpit gunsights are easy to use
got even a Mirage 5 kill with it (N1K2-Ja)

use tracers belt instead the HEFT is great having better velocity than other HE rounds even more than AP or practice round

No universal and stealth have better tnt mass than tracer

      HEFT 9g of tnt
      HEF 16.8g of tnt

The non-tracer rounds have almost double the explosive mass compared to the tracer HE rounds. The tracer belt is a trap.

Can you do a series on early jet combat?

The only word that comes to my mind with this plane is irony 🧐

what to do with lf mk 9 in 1v1 situation? they seem to be better at everything

You can think of the Spitfire LF. Mk. IX's performance as being more duelling-oriented than the Shiden-Kai, with weight, power, and armament being sacrificed for better turn and acceleration and worse energy retention.
Against it, the Shiden-Kai's job is to be an absolute brute. Don't get into a dainty little twirling fight. Force head-ons, extend and stretch the fight out in the horizontal, and keep your speed high.
Basically, use HnR, just without actually being in a faster plane. Although, I do believe the Shiden-Kai can outrun the LF. Mk. IX in a very shallow dive, especially at higher altitudes.

N1K2 vs Ki-84 Ko, which is better?

    • @Renta352
      @Renta352  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The N1K2 has better performance from 3-6km altitude, while the Ki-84 has better performance below 3km.

@@Renta352 hmm interesting. I wonder if you can do a vid on A7M. That should complete the Japanese mid tier line up.
I’m be struggling to decide which one of these three to main.

Horizontal/vertical energy retention, measures of how slowly the aircraft loses excess speed when flying level/when climbing.

I've only lost to it when faced it on Russian planes with high compression. After I switched to La7s and Focke wulf it never happened again. I picked it out last month and how did I reach 4.4kd is a miracle, this thing can't even go faster than the zero unless you dive.
